The Military Tunnel Scientist is very powerful, often wielding military grade weapons, such as a LR-300 or a MP5. They occasionally drop high grade, but rare weapons such as the M92 or SPAS-12. They are spotted around the unique Military Tunnel monument and do not roam it alone. They are better geared than other Scientist NPC's.

Tips
Scientists have a breif period of time before they acctually shoot you. they dont always have their gun out so take advantage of the time you have before they pull their gun out and try to kill them then. if you are good with a python you can kill them super easily before they even pull out their gun.
this also works with the new puzzle with killing the scientists behind the door if you have a partner with a double barrel or a python you can generally kill them without them shooting back.


These guys have low damage output at distance and also a weak point in close range soo let me tell you if you want to safe and play 15 minutes to loot military tunnels or agressive in about 7 minutes.
  • first: what weapon? bolt ak lr300 or for agressive mp5 costum smg m92 and dubbelbarrel 2x
  • agressive walk up to them and then lure them in a spot where they are exposed and give them hell
  • passive just take on long range like a normal person if you instand kill him he will push and other ones too
ALWAYS WATCH YOUR 6 and LISTEN ALWAYS NO EXCEPTION


When you fight the scientists, do NOT get close to them. They have a lot of damage but bad range. Keep your distance, use a bolty, SAR or any weapon with decent range to effectively kill them.
Military Tunnel Count Main: 1 Scientist often times outside or to the right Caves: 1 in caves and sometimes 1 outside of cave inside of tunnels Elite Crates: 2 right outside of the crates Elite to Well: 1 on top of the train next to crates Well: 1-2 in the well
These scientists often times have LR's, rarely MP's and very rarely a Spas-12

Lies, I get sniped by them holding m92's. They use them like snipers. They're too op. They take 3 shots to the head with an AK and have a dumb amount of accuracy and health. My advice to anyone, is to go as a group and take ALOT of meds. These assholes hurt and need nerfing.
