Complete Guide to Running Campaigns
By Xhanu
This guide will assist you to run effective campaigns!

There are three types of campaigns:

* Public Awareness Campaign
Affects the cannabis acceptance of targeted social groups.
In simple terms, this helps you to sell cannabis to social groups who otherwise not be interested in purchasing cannabis.
For example, Religious Folk tend not to buy large amounts of cannabis, if any, by default - with the Public Awareness Campaign, you can change this behaviour and influence them to buy much more cannabis.

* Strain Advertisement
Increases your strain ratings for targeted social groups.
In simple terms, this helps you improve the rating of a specific strain of cannabis you are selling.
For example, if you are selling Reggie to Regular Joes, and they rate your Reggie 3.0, you can use Strain Advertisement to improve this rating up to a maximum of 4.5, temporarily.

* Counter-Advertisement
Decreases competitors strain ratings for targeted social groups.
In simple terms, Counter-Advertisement does the opposite of the Strain Advertisement campaign, but on your competitors.
For example, your competitor is selling Reggie which has a rating of 5.0. You are selling Reggie as well with a rating of 4.0. With the Counter-Advertisement campaign, you can lower the rating of your competitors Reggie up to a maximum of -1.5, resulting in the competitor Reggie being rated as 3.5, while your Reggie remains at 4.0.

Note:
* Campaigns are limited in duration - duration options include one month, six months and twelve months.
* Increasing the campaign duration, increases the cost of running the campaign by $2,000, $9,000 and $17,000 respectively.
* You can have up to a maximum of three campaigns running at the same without any perks - unlocking the "SpaceZ HD Camera" (Decent) and "Customer Big Data Acccess" (Shady) perks will allow you to run one additional campaign each, for a maximum of five campaigns in total.
* Each social group has two Mediums to select from.
* Each social group has three Topics to select from.
* Each individual topic selection increases ratings by +0.5, for a maximum of +1.5 when selecting all the appropriate Topics without perks.
* As mentioned above, the maximum rating change is limited to 1.5 without any perks - unlocking perks such as "Doctors Association Approval" (Decent), Blockchain Weed (Decent), etc. allow you to increase the rating change by up to +3.0 for certain social groups.

The rest of this guide will focus on each individual social group, and their preferred mediums and topics - allowing you to run the most effective campaigns.

Example: Strain Advertisement
In this example, we will use the Strain Advertisement campaign to advertise Reggie to Regular Joes.
We will use the customer information contained in this guide to select the appropriate medium and topics for a maximum effect of +1.5.

Step 01
Select one of the available campaign slots.
As we can see in this screenshot, I already have two campaigns running currently, so I opt to select the last available slot.

Step 02
Select the Strain Advertisement campaign option.

Step 03
Select the strain you wish to advertise - in other words, the strain for which you wish to increase the rating for. In this case, I select Reggie.
After the relevant strain has been selected, select the duration - in other words, how long this campaign will run for. In this case, I select six months. Note that a longer duration increases the cost of running the campaign.

Step 04
Select the appropriate medium. In this case, since I want to target Regular Joes, I could choose either Internet or Television - for this example, I chose Internet. Use the customer information in this guide to choose the relevant medium for the customer you would like to target.

Step 05
Select the relevant topics. In this case, since I want to target Regular Joes, for maximum effect, I should choose Animals, Health and Family. Use the customer information in this guide to choose the relevant topics for the customer you would like to target.
Select the Start button to start the campaign.

Step 06
Once all the above steps have been competed, you will return to the initial Running Campaigns screen. Here, you can see the impact/ results of the previous actions we performed.

Notes
Refer to the previous screenshot - we can see that Cancer Patients received +2.0, Regular Joes received +1.5 and that Tastemakers received +0.5

Notice that Cancer patients received +2.0, which is more than the +1.5 maximum - how is this possible?
This is only possible because of perks I have unlocked. Under normal circumstances, this would not be possible. I included this specifically to indicate the impact of perks on the ratings.
Cancer Patients received a rating increase of +1.0 as the Family and Health topics apply to them as well as Regular Joes. The additional +1.0 (for a total of +2.0) is because of the perk mentioned earlier.

Regular Joes received the maximum rating change of +1.5 as expected. This is because we selected the appropriate medium and topics relevant to Regular Joes.

Tastemakers received a rating increase of +0.5 as the Animals topic applies to them as well as Regular Joes.

Added Medical Fakers, Thugs and Vagrants. Improved identification of medical only social groups by adding "(Medical)" as an indicator. Updated artwork for Cancer Patients, Epilepsy Patients, HIV Patients and PTSD Patients.

In sandbox mode, you can market to Vagrants - flyers, food, work, animals. (not sure what the second medium is, didn't care to test it out).

Another comment I want to make is: this guide is pretty good, but one thing that could be super helpful is if you list some of the "best overlaps" you can get. For example, if you advertise animals, health, and family over the radio, this fully maximizes marketing to both old people and regular joes with one campaign. While the trifecta overlap is rare, there are a number of useful 3/2 overlaps like doing radio politics education family splashes 3 to religious people and 2 to city officials. There are more, that is one example. The way this guide is presented it is very hard to see what kind of good overlaps you can get. Either straight out give some nice overlap examples, or reorganize the format to sort by medium/topic type instead of sorting by individual group so it's easier to see which groups can be overlapped.
