First things first, to open up the ability to purchase stock you will need to head over to the furniture Vendor and buy a table and two pedestals. Make sure you only buy the necessary storage, no more no less.



Now head into your store and place these items, we wont need them straight away.

Next head to Father Eduard and accept his quest " under the table ". Now buy yourself a Poor shirt. DO NOT put this in your store, instead head out into town and sell it to first person you find for £140, if they refuse at that price drop it to £130. Now with the money you made buy more Poor shirts and rinse and repeat, within minutes you will have plenty of money.

This will give you plenty of liquid capital ( especially if your also rooting through the bins ). But it wont unlock buildings or advance the town. So to remedy this we need to start gathering Tax income, now lets head over to Gil Fence in your Management House and click on Taxes, Drag the top slider all the way to 90% and leave.



This means for every £100 we make in the store £90 will be paid as tax, But that does not really matter since we make our money running around town selling poor shirts like Delboy and Rodney. Now Buy a couple of face masks and poor shirts and fill the table and pedestals in your store.

Now each time these sell you advance taxes bar, that will expand your town and open up new structures. While waiting for customers in your store, continue to buy poor shirts and sell them around town.

Now should a customer buy a mask in your store, Sell him a shirt manually too. Someone just browsing? Sell them a shirt, Did he just kick your display! Sell him a shirt!!.

By the end of Day 1 you should have plenty of Money in the bank, The cook, The Blacksmith and the Alchemist should be unlocked and you will have a sure fire way of making Money extremely quickly while paying huge amounts of tax.

Lastly, this scales very well, as soon as possible unlock the spider Helm and repeat this trick, obviously replacing the poor shirt for a spider Helm, or some other high value item ( the higher value the better ).

And in no time you will have more money than... well someone with lots of money, while strutting your stuff around a well developed town.
