Now let's walk through some of the ways you can deal with a hacker in MvM.

This option is great if you just want to encourage a less toxic community, and want to try and convince the hacker that he can learn to play the game.

This option never works and 98% of the time you'll get responses like:

"I just want an easy game stfu"
"Wow, you don't want to get carried for loot?"


And to that I present:

If the hacker is in a party of players, forget it. Not happening.

If the team thinks that the hacker is needed for some reason beyond any line of basic human reasoning, the kick isn't happening. Don't encourage idiots to always rely on getting carried.

When this fails, you can either disconnect, or choose to:

Okay so I must preface this with don't ever actually airblast bots in normal play, it ♥♥♥♥♥ up the entire wave flow and makes your team less organized.

But this isn't normal play. This is war now.


When the buster is low on health or initiating detonation, airblast it on top of the hacker. Repeat and attempt until the wave completes, or fails due to you taking care of business.

Remember, you couldn't get the hacker to stop and the team refused to kick him, collateral damage is a necessary side effect of your crusade

The hacker may disconnect. Everyone else may disconnect as well, or they will kick you. All viable possibilities, and these might not be options for you.

Let's say the team is yelling at you the whole way through your holy war- This is where the next option comes in, when option 3 looks like it may end in you getting the big ol' boot.

The wave ends in failure, the team the whole time yelling at you to stop and that the kick is coming. You are sweating, thinking of what you could possibly do to finally clean the server of the pestilence that's befallen it.

Wait a few seconds after the wave ends and the team is going in for upgrades/preparing a kick. The hacker thinks he's won, the team thinks they're in the clear-



The players who were expecting the votekick will smash F1 the second they hear the noise prompt. It's the first actual keypress they've made since the game started, so kudos to you for actually getting them to do something!

The mission restarts, you get a big golden "MvM professional" sticker slapped on your forehead, and you can now spam comments on mvmlobby about how you hate everyone and are 10x smarter than most other players.

You can disconnect or just wait for all of them to kick you/disconnect. Your righteous jihad will not go unnoticed.

(sometimes this doesn't happen, they all read the vote, go on and on about how you suck and how toxic mvm is and blah blah blah, and then kick you. You tried though, and that's what counts.)
