Colourful uniforms - faction recolour

Beskrivelse
Are you tired of the dark, grim, and extremely boring colour set of Attila's factions?
Do you want to see different nations' soldiers actually wearing varied clothing, not just infinite shades of grey or green? Are you fed up seeing all of this because you realise people back then actually loved to wear colourful robes?
Do you want every faction to have their own recognisable look while also retaining historical accuracy?
Well then, this mod is for you!
It offers a simple solution to Attila's boring pallete of faction colours and tries to keep historical authenticity as much as possible, while still sticking to the game's grim feel.

After battle, you can also enjoy beautiful patterns made out of corpses lying on the ground.

List of factions affected (playable factions only):
Eastern Roman Empire - red/blue/yellow - removed purple for the sake of historicity (it was an extremely expensive dye and there was no way to equip an entire army with purple uniforms)
Western Roman Empire - red/white/yellow
Sassanid Empire - soft yellow/green/blue
Franks - turquoise/red/yellow
Visigoths - dark yellow/red/blue
Ostrogoths - dark blue/yellow/claret
Vandals - white/red/green
Burgundians - light green/white/red
Danes -light blue/red/white
Geats - dark blue/red/yellow
Jutes - blue/yellow/red
Langobards - dark blue/claret/light blue
Saxons - yellow/green/crimson red
Ebdanians - dark green/red/yellow
Picts - dark blue/pinkish-orange/yellow
Caledonians - light blue/green/yellow
Suebians - dark green/dark blue/crimson red
Alamans - dark yellow/greyish red/yellow
Alans - dark green/yellow/red
White Huns - yellow/white/green
Sclaveni - claret/dark blue/green
Antes - blue/dark blue/dark yellow
Venedi - dark yellow/green/claret
Byzantine Empire (The last Roman) - red/green/blue
Roman Expedition (The last Roman) - red/green/blue

Compatible with essentially everything as the mod has filename priority over all other mods so it will work even together with reskins that touch uniform colours.

Don't forget to rate the mod if you like it!

The mod is wonderful! And I'm so frustrated now... I move on to use the Anno Domini overhauls for some later era gaming, and their reskins drag me right back to those gosh-darned ahistorical muted brown pallets. I do so wish someone would make sub-mods like this for 768, 919, and 1051. The 1212 mod is properly colorful, but the Anno Domini team seem to insist on perpetuating that ridiculous and dismal Ridley Scott cinematic nonsense.

Thanks. Good thing is that it doesn't get outdated...

Thanks. Sorry but I no longer play Attila for now, and also I don't think I would be able to do this since I think it requires dabbling in shield models. My modding skills are basic, really.

Absolutely glorious mod. The best 2KB "reskin" I have ever come across. Now the only thing missing is a separate shield variations mod that also only uses vanilla assets and somewhat increases the pattern and colour variety. Would this be possible for you?

Thanks, I appreciate it.

That would require changing his model exclusively, something that I'm not capable of. You can always use roman unit reskins with my mod, some of them give the emperor and his guard purple uniforms.
