Kingpin resolution fix for steam version(patching is not required)

Because standard resolution fix for kingpin doesn't work with steam version of the game(steam doesn't allow to patch exe) I've made a small fix in memory (via wrapping one of the used dlls).
This fix works only with fresh steam version(without any thirdparty patches) of the game.
To instal it download this archive[s3.amazonaws.com] and unpack it to ..\SteamGames\SteamApps\common\Kingpin. Both files ResolutionSettings.ini and winmm.dll should be in the same directory with kingpin.exe.
By default fix changes all resolution modes to 1920x1080, but it can be changed via editing ResolutionSettings.ini (description inside file).

Is 1080p the max resolution for the original game? Can´t get the game to work in higher than 1080p.

It definitely still requires a patch

i have a problem getting my game to start and im new to pc and steam support dont care enough about their job to respond about me wanting a refund or t least how to fix my game can anyone help out? it shows a white box like a window opening and crashes ive downloaded the archive above and still nothings working

For some reason the game wont even start for me? i get a grey box when i try to start the kingpins application and then it just auto closes. any ideas on how i can get it working?

i would love to play this game again as i use to play it when i was a kid but never completed it

any help would be appreciated! :)
