  • You can only recruit one character between Lucius the Necromancer and Caecily the Healer.
  • Roine and Dart are very different from each other but will find out, suprisingly, that they have great alchemy together.

Alec (You)
  • To have Alec wear the typical "mage" cloak, you'll have to join the Mages' Guild.

Adahn
  • If you invited Adahn to live in town, and he's at the Pub when the "sick girl" quest is triggered, he'll solve it right away for you!

Alisha
  • Alisha is always embarassed around other girls. Especially young and cute ones.

Antonio
  • Antonio the actor arrives once you build a theater. He behaves differently if you talk to him with a good looking girl in your party.

  • Ark has problems being "regular" with his energy. Some days he'll just show up tired at the Guild and won't join your team.
  • The fate of Ark, including where he's going to live, depends on you... if you became friends in the first place.

Belle
  • Belle may permanently die in more than one case.

Caecily
  • Caecily's personal quest may lead to an extremely powerful accessory that will save your Mana consumption
  • If Caecily fails in defeating her rival, her personality will become much darker. This may result in her being less...attractive to a certain someone.

Dahlia
  • If you ask Dahlia, the Wild Dance bartender, about her whereabouts during the day, you can then meet her when the sun is up.

Danthienne
  • Finish Danthienne's quest to the point of saving the "rare flower" and then speak with Warren to unlock her special hidden class.
  • Danthienne's parents are very popular in the Capital for being influential citizens. She couldn't stand the life there and seeked a job with the Merchant's Guild.
  • Danthienne works her way through the Fighter specialization tree but her stats are more similar to a Scout.

  • Not much is known about Dart's background. He's born in Ecallia and grew up with a taste for violence, girls, and collecting knives.
  • Dart is the fastest recruitable character. Phillip is the slowest.

Elasul
  • There is a way to join Elasul for a certain battle near the end of the game.

Isabel
  • Bring Isabel with you if you want to see a different ending.
  • Isabel's quest is directly linked to the ending.
  • Isabel's quest is mandatory to advance the plot.
  • To turn Isabel into the powerful Valkyrie, have them master the "Defender" class.

  • Jane's secret class is the "Rogue". You can unlock it after you've cleared her personal quest with the Thieves' Guild.
  • Jane, after her arrival in Ecallia, is never available at the Guild during the mornings.

Jelah
  • After you speak with Jelah the scultor, you'll discover that she's in town only for a while. Better hurry if you want your own statue!
  • Jelah is a travelling artist. She can make a very realistic statue for you, but you'll need a big house for that.

Jude
  • Find Jude a job at the Weapon Shop, then send the brown haired boy to work at Drake's. This is the first part to recruit your "Slime" companion.

Kai
  • You can recruit Kai if you don't have a full party in certain occasions.

Kumokiri
  • Kumokiri's secret class is the "Ronin". Unlocking this is very hard because you only have one chance at completing her personal quest.

Lee
  • Tired of consuming many gerbs with Alchemy? Recruit Lee and unlock his special class that comes with "Advanced Alchemy".
  • You can only recruit Lee if you're not a mage.
  • Lee won't join a mage Alec. He's too proud.

Lucius
  • Lucius can switch to the hidden specialization "Dark Mage" if you have him master Necromancy.

Mak
  • If you ever need to forge some documents, Mak is your man.
  • There is a way to be friends with Mak and work with Hamilton at the same time.

Musa
  • Musa is a part of the brotherhood Wanderers, where you have to reject your past and adopt a new name. She rarely speaks about her companions.

Phillip
  • Phillip knows an expert on Dragon Gems. If you find one, may sure you bring it to him.
  • The easiest way to attract Reya, the Dragon researcher, to Ecallia, is to kill at least one Dragon and bring Phillip the Gem you find.

Roine
  • Roine leaves the party every evening to go to work. If the Pub is closed for repairs or other matters, he'll stay in the party.
  • To unlock Roine's special class you have to master the Bard skills and then speak with Warren. No plot unlock is necessary.
  • Roine's family belongs to the High Town, the part of the Capital where nobles and rich people live. He was trained by master archers and studied with famous bards.

  • There is a possible scenario where Rudy and Rose a dancer from the Wild Dance Pub, end up together.
  • The identity of Rudy's partner will vary with your actions. The outcomes vary from giving up with love to being pleasantly engaged.

  • It's possible to have a very bad argument with Rudy that may result in him not joining your team anymore.

Sern
  • Sern and Kamui don't go along with anyone.

Shift
  • Shift is a recruitable character that comes with a special weapon. If you complete his quest, you'll receive both twin daggers.

Sierra
  • Sierra can unlock the Druidess class. It has both fighter and mage perks.
Classes
General
  • There are several ways to heal your characters besides the Healer skills. The Knight, Paladin and Bard all have useful healing skills.

Air/Fire/Ice Sage
  • Elemental spells are shared among the "Sage" classes. This means that if you unlock a Fire spell and then switch to "Air Sage", you'll still be able to use it.
  • Tired of monsters running into you in the Dungeon? The Ice Sage can create a block of ice to stop them.

Archmage
  • The Archmage class is hidden! Unlock certain skills to prove that you're worthy of being the ultimate magician!

Berserker
  • Tired of monsters running into you in the Dungeon? The Berseker can "Roar!" and freeze them all for a few seconds!

Druidess
  • The "Druidess" special class is only available for a certain character.

Knight
  • The Knight's ability is very useful: you heal your entire party and buff up attack. You can even use it in the menu screen!

Necromancer
  • The Undead that a Necromancer can summon will retain level, experience and job points, so you don't need to worry about spending his JP all at once.
  • The undead summoned by a Necromancer is a dynamic party member with its own stats and level growth.
  • The undead characters summoned by a Necromancer keep their job points and equipment like any other recruitable ally.
Dungeon
  • The axe-wielding warrior at the Guild will give you tips on some monsters' elemental weaknesses.
  • Close to the end of the game, you can meet two allies who'll use teleport magic to send you directly in the lower floors of the Dungeon.
  • There is more than one "dragon lair" floor in the Dungeon.
  • There is a character that you can meet and recuit directly in the Dungeon. He won't follow you outside.

  • There are some items that allow you to teleport to lower floors of the Dungeon, so that you don't have to start over from level 1 everytime.
  • There are some genies and strange wizards living in the Dungeon.
  • Trepidanos, when met in the Dungeon, will offer you tea and teleport scrolls.
  • Golden staircases will allow you to skip entire floors.

Floor specific
  • After reaching floor 10, you will unlock the Portal option at the Guild that will warp you to lower floors of the Dungeon if you have the proper item.
  • Kumokiri will be recruitable after you reach floor 11.
  • The aggressive duo that duels you on floor 12 will give you a second chance if you fail the fight.
  • The Cup of Redemption to save Belle can be found on floor 13 during her quest.
  • The "Magic Fountain floor" occasionally spawns at Floor 15.

Loot
  • There's a special bag where your items are safe from the Dungeon's disappearing magic.
  • Monster Drops are more valuable than they seem.
  • Even though you can start exploring from lower floors with a few tricks, the first levels are always useful for the loot.
  • "Unlock" is a passive skill that will automatically open any treasure chests you find in the Dungeon.
  • There are many treasures to find in the Dungeon, and you'll never see anything similar outside. For example: the Oleem Crystal, Woman's Dress, the Detector amulet.
  • The Oleem Crystal will remove a party member that's fallen in battle. It's useful if you can summon a replacement or meet someone else in the Dungeon.
  • You only need one party member equipping the "Detector" accessory to find hidden treasures.
  • You can occasionally find big treasure chests in the Dungeon. They either contain hundreds of gold, or a nasty mimic waiting to ambush you.

Traps
  • You can use a Trap Scroll or the Sniper skill "Detect Traps" to uncover all traps on the floors you're in.
  • Not all traps have negative effects! For example, the "Fall Trap" will send you one floor down.
  • Not all traps have negative effects! For example, the "Heal Trap" will restore your health.
Minigames
Dice Bomb
  • "Dice Bomb" is a long and heavily luck-based game, but if you're lucky you can win 4x your bet!

Mice
  • The "mice" minigame at the Inn can only be played a limited amount of times before... something happens.

Wizards
  • When playing the "Wizards" game, you have to try and understand how the enemy thinks.
  • Artemides, when playing the "Wizards" board game, will tend to play "fire" 50% of times.
Romance
  • Even if your intimacy is very low, you can't breakup with a girlfriend unless something bad happens between you two.
  • If you're romancing both Fiona and Danthienne, and recruit them for your party, they may end up arguing for some petty reason.
  • Some girlfriend will dump you if your intimacy with them gets too low.
  • You can only get married with a girl after you've finished her personal quest. Increase her intimacy with gifts and dates.
  • Some girls won't approve you stealing from people's houses. Watch out for the intimacy value decreasing.
  • If you get "friendzoned" by Mai, she won't be pissed every time you invite a girl to her Restaurant for a date.
  • After you've conquered a girl's heart the story is not finished! Increase her intimacy to trigger her personal quest and strenghten your bond.
  • Don't get caught by one of your girls while you flirt with someone else! She may definitely not like it.
  • If Kumokiri invites you out for dinner, you may jeopardize your relationship with a lot of other girls.
  • Balance gifts, dating and appropriate behavior in front of your lady, if you don't want to end up getting dumped!
  • Girls are not stupid: they will know if you're trying to date other people.
  • Inviting other girls to dine at the Restaurant is the best way to make Mai really angry.

Relationship Help
  • Ask Artemides at the Lovely Charm if you need advice with a girl.
  • If you want to know more about your current situation with a girl, go to the Lovely Charm.
  • Check your intimacy level with a girl by entering the special menu in the Lovely Charm shop!

Raise Intimacy
  • Inviting some girls to join your party will increase your intimace score by a few points.
  • Quickest way to increase Intimacy? The "Love Orchid".
  • The "Love Orchid" is the legendary flower that will make any girl instantly fall in love with you!
  • The best gift you could provide is the "Love Orchid", but it can't be bought in the shop.

Marriage
  • Marriage is a real option in Ecallia. But beware! No one else will want to date you after you're engaged!
  • Choose wisely your best man when you get married! They'll give you a present based on your relationship.
  • If you get married while having a roommate, they may decide to move out of your home.
  • If you're in a relationship with more than one girl and then get married, the other girls who have feelings for you won't take it well.
  • The amount of money you receive after marriage depends on who you're getting married to. Some girls have wealthier background.

Alright, that's fine I suppose. Though i'm currently not going to Dungeon Dreams atm, as I currently am redelving into RoAW 1 on my PS3 (I have prior experience from my 360) atm and am currently on my second non-True Ending run (my fourth run will be my True Ending run), it being the most annoying due to the fact that i'm getting the magical (weakest in terms of physical strength) line of brides cleared up on the trophy list, thus letting my third and final "non-True Ending run" be MUCH less annoying as the line will have MUCH better physical strength than the line i'm doing now, so yeah... ^^; Thanks to both of those things, i'll gladly accept the friend request. :higu_mion:

Hey sorry, didn't get any notification here and wasn't looking into the guide for some time. I sent you a friend request, if it is ok for you I am going to add you as a editor to this guide.
Rookie (ZOE) 25 Apr, 2019 @ 8:09am
Another: "In the Thieves' Quest where you have to replace the sword with a fake, you can trick the Guildmaster and give him another one." (Something I intend to do once I find the damn way to get to their rotten nest, fitting for a den of filth that is the Thieves' Guild)
Rookie (ZOE) 23 Apr, 2019 @ 2:10pm
Here's another interesting one: "What's with the locked mansion in the southern part of town? Dart's friend Ridge may know something about it."
Rookie (ZOE) 22 Apr, 2019 @ 4:18am
Another: "If you build the farm before buying the kitchen, the farmer will sell cooking ingredients instead of the Lovely Charm."
Rookie (ZOE) 21 Apr, 2019 @ 2:50am
Yet another: "If Ark's greeting is accompanied by a "Zzz" balloon, he's not going to join your party on that day."
Rookie (ZOE) 19 Apr, 2019 @ 9:30pm
Damnit... REALLY wish I knew about this before: "Work as a bouncer at the Theater if you want to launch a chain of events that may lead to unlocking the "Monk" class."
Rookie (ZOE) 19 Apr, 2019 @ 5:08am
Got another one: "The "Demon Lady Shop floor" occasionally spawns at Floor 23."
Rookie (ZOE) 18 Apr, 2019 @ 9:19pm
Unique one here: "Hazel is from a place that is sometimes known as "Ninja Village". The reason for which he only trains by himself lies in his past in that village."
