I know when I started the game I really took this to heart, and straight up installed a mod that let me retry bosses so when I actually played the game I could destroy them, no questions asked

but to farm you need to git gud

Some people don't seem to understand that a part of the joke is in fact that it is "overused" and complaining about it would just make the joke better
