How to...
Download the patch from:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1s3FneGgAv3u5YEteZ33_bjoSSgKzDltZ

and then uncompress its contents into the game directory with 'swtfu.exe' (usually "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars The Force Unleashed").

Then start the SWTFU60fps.bat script from the patch to automatically patch the game exe.*

Enjoy the game in glorious 60 fps!

⚠️ One last thing: original game has a bug (?) when you grab objects with the force they will slowly lift up... humanoids grab seems unaffected. Unfortunately using the 60fps patch this behaviour will be accelerated and objects will lift up much faster, but that's an original game problem even at 30fps (only less noticeable).
There is no working fix for SWTFU (-VariableTimeSteps etc. work only with SWTFU2!).

Recommended NVidia settings:
Limit framerate V3 = 60 (or menus will waste GPU power running uncapped)
VSycn= ON

* If batch file fails, do it manually:
1. from cmd prompt:
jptch.exe SWTFU.exe SWTFU.exe.jdiff SWTFU_patched.exe
2. rename "SWTFU_patched.exe" to "SWTFU.exe", like the original exe
Special thanks

2GB+ patch
Disable any Compatibility Mode you may have set (Win7 compatibility, run as admin, etc.).
After the patch, to improve stability and potentially fix random crashes, with an hex editor like HxD modify at the offset/address:
0000011E: 03 -> 23

If you're too noob to manually modify the SWTFU.exe, you can try with tool 4GB Patch: https://ntcore.com/?page_id=371

(This won't fix all loading/fmv crashes but should reduce them drastically)
Sound fix
As reported by user Doom Gael, here is also a sound fix for those experiencing this kind of bug:
I was experiencing sound bugs on Imperial Raxus Prime, and just so happened to stumble upon this fix for the game:

Extract to LevelPacks in the installation folder, replacing the existing files when prompted.

@TheVylan
Try using "4GB Patch" tool (a few KB).

@godLike you take

jptch.exe SWTFU.exe SWTFU.exe.jdiff SWTFU_patched.exe

and run it in the command prompt (you can open this by pressing Windows Key+R and typing in cmd)

When trying to manually patch for 2GB, I couldn't find the offset/address provided. We're supposed to be modifying the swtfu.exe right?

I have the same problem as @Mint Nightingale mentioned but what do you mean by cmd prompt what exactly I gotta do?

@DM
Too vague: please report the exact level and cutscene for checking...
If you applied other mods etc. try without them and follow the "Recommended NVidia settings" in the guide

I am having the same problem. There are some levels where the 60 FPS patch works perfectly fine, but it reverts back to 30 FPS after some cutscenes on TFU 1.

@Rozz Synthclair
Sorry, I never experienced that (...?)

The game randomly goes back to 30 FPS sometimes after certain cutscenes or levels. Restarting the game fixes it, which is quite annoying. Is there a toggle key that I'm pressing by accident?

Is steam deck supported? Or should we use the patch from PCGW?
