I think the roug-rider(build) is a good deal betwen damage resistance and DPS.
I prefer "The Bee", but it makes me to a "glass-canon", a lot of DPS, but very vulnerable :/
You will see the rough rider very frequently in UVHM, particularly when raiding as Salvador, as it gives him increased DPS with the right skills, I believe.
Also, looking back now, I never said the rough rider irself did not work well in UVHM, I just said that this build does not. But if you want a shield for damage resistance you are going to want to go with the evolution or the sham (the sham doesn't provide actual resistance per se, but has a large chance to absorb bullets).
20% damage reduce, increased life.
you are wrong with that the RR has no benefit from higher levels. -> the life-increase will profit from that.
The rough-rider work well with % life - reg, because it will increase the max life.
+20% damage reduce work well with the increased max life, too :)
