Day 1: Chemistry Major
This is one of the three possible events that can happen on day one, and my personal favourite out of them. Here's a quick check list of the tools you'll need to get the perfect achievement:

  • Hammer
  • Duct tape
  • Towels
  • Paper clip
  • Wrench

Once you get past the tutorial phase and enter the house you're able to explore the area. The three areas you can explore on this day are the Roadblock, the Destroyed Bridge, and the Gas Station. Before you leave to go exploring however, go upstairs where you'll find a broken computer. Click on the stack of papers next to it to get the paper clip, you'll need it later. While you're upstairs go in to the bathroom and grab the towel that's hanging there. Finally, go back downstairs and grab the house keys and another towel from the kitchen. The keys will be sparkling so they're not too hard to find. Place the towels, the short pipe, and the stack of papers in the storage chest and take out the broken hammer. Now you're ready to go out in to the world!

The first place you should go is the bridge. Go to the flipped truck and grab the spade. You'll break off the handle, but that's okay because you can combine it with the hammer to fix it! Grab the weather drone while you're there and then head to roadblock.

Once at the roadblock, you'll see two dead bodies next to a broken car. Click on the body closest to you to get an air filter. Move to the other body and pick up the wrench next to them before inspecting the body to find a small leaflet which tells you the density of air. You won't take the leaflet with you, but you will write down the important details in your journal which you'll need later.

Go to the car wrecks north of you where there's a Chemical Emergency Response truck waiting. It's locked, but remember the paper clip? Use that on the truck to unlock it and then head inside. There's four lockers which contain the following from left to right:

  • A hazmat suit
  • A roll of duct tape
  • Nothing at all
  • A chemistry flask and a sticky note

To open the second locker you'll need our good friend the paper clip again, but it's well worth the time to do so as the duct tape is one of the most valuable items in the game, especially on the first day.

Inspect the hazmat suit to find that the air filter in it is faulty and that there's a big hole in it. Install the air filter you found on the corpse and use the duct tape to seal the hole up. Next take a look at the weather drone to see what the Ph level of the gas is. The sticky note tells you which of the three chemicals you have to mix together to get the right neutralizer, but here's a quick list anyway:

  • Ph 0 - 2 = A+B
  • Ph 3 - 5 = A + C
  • Ph 6 - 7 = B + C

Depending on what your Ph is, use the chemistry flask on the different valves to get the right mixture. Once that's done, go back to where the blue car is and inspect it. Use the wrench to remove the ignition coil, which you'll need to use to fix up the pick up truck back at your hideout, which is your next stop.

Go to the barn behind the house and click on the hay stack covering part of the pipe a few times. This will reveal a large hole which you can seal up with duct tape. Put the full flask on the pesticide inlet too, and put the ignition coil in the truck's cargo box for now. Head back out and use the hammer on the green house two times to get two handfuls of nails. Make a quick stop inside to put the hazmat suit, sticky note, weather drone, and duct tape in your storage bin, then head back to the bridge.

Use the hammer on the stack of planks twice. This does take a lot of time, but this is the best day to do this on. With the bridge fully built, you can cross the ravine without any delays with your truck once it's fully fixed. Speaking of the truck, use the wrench on the truck to remove a tire from the truck there for yours.

Head to the gas station and head inside the main building first. Grab the empty gas canister and head over to the next room. Get all three rolls of plastic wrap and head outside to the parking lot. Use the empty gas canister, then the wrench, on the fuel valves to get a full gas canister. Use the hammer on the crowbar stuck in the register to get that for later. Now it's time to head back home.

Once back home go to the barn and use the gas canister on the emergency generator and turn the water pump on. Set the water pump to overnight sprinkler, and then click the sprinkler buttons until all of them are lit up. There's no real strategy to this that I know of, just keep pressing buttons until they all light up, which shouldn't take more than a minute or two. Go back inside and grab the duct tape, and use that and the plastic wrap to seal up all of the windows.

At this point, you should have 3 hours and 2 minutes left to the day. With the remaining time, go back to the gas station to refill your canister and head back home. Get the wheel and ignition coil and use them along with the gas to fix up your car. This will leave you with an hour and 42 minutes, but none of your remaining actions will take up time.

Go back inside and make sure the doors are locked. Get the towels, and your hazmat suit, and shove them in the door cracks to seal them up. Finally, double check what the density of the gas is. If it's below 1.61 kg/m3, stay on the first floor, otherwise go up to the second floor. You can use the weather drone for this. Go to wherever you need to go and end the day, putting on the hazmat suit.

If you did this right you'll unlock the achievement and gain +5 Kg to your total weight limit.
Day 1: Arachnophobia
Uuuggggghhhhh, SPIDERS. >_< Why does there have to be spiders? While they are important to the ecosystem and all that, nothing should have that many eyes and legs!

Regardless of how you may feel about them, if your dream involved getting eaten by them then you're gonna need to prepare for an Arachnophobia nightmare: Giant spiders are coming to your house. Here's the list of what you'll need to survive the night:

  • Wrench
  • Hammer
  • Duct tape
  • Paper clip

After finishing the tutorial and getting in to the house, go to the kitchen to get the house keys which are hanging next to the kitchen door. Head upstairs, you'll see a computer with a stack of papers next to it. Click the papers to get a stack of papers and more importantly, a paper clip. Go back to the main room and grab the broken hammer from the storage bin, dropping off the short pipe and the papers while you're there. You're ready to head out into the wastelands now. You can go to three locations, the gas station, the bridge, and the roadblock.

Head to the roadblock first. Grab the wrench that's lying on the ground and search the body next to it to find a note telling you about a repellent that you can use to ward off the spiders. Check the other body to see the bite marks on it, then inspect the car and get the ignition coil out of it using the wrench. Head to the car wrecks to find a Pest Control truck. Of all things, you need to use the paper clip to unlock it. Not gonna lie, the first time I played through the game it took me AGES to even FIND the paper clip. Inside the truck there are two bear traps, grab those, and four lockers. From left to right they hold:

  • Repellents
  • Duct Tape
  • Nothing
  • Sticky note

Unlock the second locker with the paper clip to get the duct tape, then grab the sticky note from the fourth locker. This combined with the bite mark on the dead body tells you which repellent you need to grab, so don't forget to check both of them. You're now done with this area and don't need to come back here for the rest of the day.

Go to the bridge and get the handle from the spade attached to the wrecked truck and combine that with the broken hammer to get a fixed hammer. While you're here, use the wrench on the truck to get a spare tire.

At home, set the bear traps up in front of your house. Don't worry, you can't get caught in them yourself. If you did this right, your journal will tell you that you placed two traps outside your house. Go to the barn and clear the hay from the pipe to see that it's busted. Use the duct tape to fix that, and store the ignition coil and the tire in the truck's cargo box for now. Insert the repellent into the pesticide inlet in the water pump. Go to the green house and remove all of the nails. This will take a total of 80 minutes to do, but it's impossible to get the achievement without them. Put three of them in your storage bin. You don't need the paper clip or the duct tape so put them away for now too, you'll need to be as light as possible.

Head back to the bridge and use the nails and hammer to repair it, now you can cross without any delays. From here head to the gas station. Go through the first door to see a spider nomming on a dead body and proceed to nope right on out of there. Go to the parking lot and grab the rock, then go back to the front. Go through the second door and grab two of the metal bars, you'll have to come back for the third, and use the rock on the stack of plates to break them and distract the spider. Now you can go through the first door and grab the gas canister and the rifle. Use the hammer on the crow bar stuck in the register to get it out, then head back outside. Use the rifle on the spider before it makes a meal out of you and head back home.

Deposit the crowbar and rifle and get two of the nails out. Use the metal bars and nails to seal two of the windows and head back to the gas station. Grab the last of the metal bars and fill up the canister at the oil tanker in the parking lot using the wrench. Return home and fill up the emergency power generator. Turn the water pump on, then set it to mist spray. To activate the sprinklers, just press the buttons until all the lights are on. Head back in and install the metal bars on the last remaining window with nails.

You should have 3 hours and 46 minutes left now, which is enough time to repair the truck in the barn. Make a stop to the gas station to fill up your canister again, then return home, inspect the car, and use the gas, tire, and ignition coil to fix it up. You have enough time to fill up your canister again if you want to, which I recommend you do.

Head inside and make sure your doors are closed and locked, and ride out the night knowing that you're safe from creepy crawlies of the eight legged variety and can get a good night's rest.

In the morning you'll get the Arachnophobia achievement and +5Kg to your carry limit.
Day 1: Disinfestation
The eighth plague of Egypt has decided to make a come back return, because tonight you're going to encounter a swarm of locusts coming your way. If you want to survive to see another day and not become a bug's meal, then you're going to need these tools:

  • Wrench
  • Hammer
  • Paper clip
  • Duct tape

After the tutorial, head to the barn behind the house where you'll find a short pipe. Use that to break open the window to get inside. Grab the broken hammer from the storage bin and drop off the pipe, then go to the kitchen to grab the house keys. Head upstairs and grab the paper clip, and a stack of papers, from next to the computer, then head on out to explore the wasteland.

Your first stop is to the road block. Examine the body closest to you to get a strange remote control, and pick up the wrench next to the other guy. As gross as living insects can be, pick up the dead one next to the dead guy you got the remote from, then head over to the car wrecks. Use the paper clip to unlock the Pest Control truck and examine the lockers. From left to right inside them are:

  • Pesticide
  • Nothing at all
  • Duct tape and another can of Pesticide
  • Sticky note and a Sonic repellent device

Use the paper clip again to unlock the locker with the duct tape and second pesticide, grab them, then go back and inspect the blue car. Remove the ignition coil from it with the wrench. With all this done you have no reason to come back here for the day.

Go to the bridge next, and get a handle from trying, and failing, to get the spade off of the truck. Combine the handle with the broken hammer to get a regular hammer, and while you're there use the wrench to remove a tire from the truck as well.

Head back home, there's some work to get done before heading back out. First of all, go to the front of your house and set up the sonic repellent device. Use the remote to set it to the right frequency, and use the sticky note and the dead bug to figure out what that frequency is. Go back to the barn and insert the pesticide cans into the pesticide inlets, and kick the hay out of the way to find that there's a huge hole in it. Never fear, duct tape is here! Use that to seal up the hole, and drop off the ignition coil and tire in the truck's cargo box for now. Inspect the truck to see that you'll need both of them, and gas, to fix it up, but worry about that later, you've got a base to set up. Use the hammer on the greenhouse twice to get two handfuls of nails, then head back on out.

Go to the bridge and use the hammer and nails to repair it with the planks from the truck. It's time consuming, but today is the best day to do so.

From here go to the last location you haven't explored yet, the gas station. Go in through the first door and use the hammer to get the crowbar out of the register faster, you won't need it today but it is important for day 2. Grab the gas canister as well and go through the door, grabbing the three pieces of window net before going to the parking lot. Use the canister and the wrench on the fuel valves to get a full canister of gas and head back home.

Use the gas on the emergency generator in the barn and power on the water pump. Set the sprinkler system to mist and turn all the sprinklers on. It's a bit tricky to get all the lights to go on, but that's what you gotta do. Head inside and use the window netting and duct tape on all three windows to seal them up.

At this time you should have around three hours left, so head back to the gas station and refill your gas, then return home and fix up the truck. To do so, use the gas, tire, and ignition coil.

Head back inside your house, double check that everything is ready, and that you've closed the doors. Once you're certain you're good to go, end the day.

If you can sleep through the sound of buzzing locusts, you'll wake up with the Disinfestation achievement and +5Kg added to your weight limit.
Pyromaniac: So that's what this item is for!
So surprisingly, one of the easiest achievements seems to be the one that most people can't figure out. To be fair it's not obvious what you have to do to get this, but once I figured it out I felt a bit stupid for not figuring it out sooner, and honestly I think I just got this from blind luck. The items you'll need for this achievement are:

  • The water sprayer
  • Duct tape
  • The lighter
  • Gas

You can find the water sprayer behind the house sitting on the greenhouse pretty easily. Go to the gas station and grab the lighter from the trinket stand, and fill up your gas canister. Go to the truck at the roadblock and grab the duct tape. Combine the lighter with the water sprinkler, then fill it with gas to makea flamethrowerwhich is pretty freaking awesome. Super simple, but it does make you feel a bit stupid for not figuring it out. Hey, at least you get a cool item out of it!
Day 2: No sweat
You survived day one, now it's on to day two. Whatever you had to deal with on day one, it's out of the kitchen and into the fryer now. A massive heat wave is coming your way and you only have 12 hours to prepare for it. After a very rude awakening thanks to a helicopter crashing in to your house, you meet Cate, the helicopter's pilot and a no nonsense woman with a gun right in your face.

To start with, grab the screwdriver from the helicopter room, and the extension cord from the room leading back downstairs. Don't worry about the destroyed barricades for now, you can deal with those later. You won't have some of these right away, but the tools you need for today are:

  • Wrench
  • Screwdriver
  • Crowbar
  • Short pipe
  • Hammer
  • Shovel
  • Knife
  • Extension cord

If you had to deal with spiders yesterday, remove one of the destroyed barricades with the hammer to get a handful of nails, then head to the bridge. Build up the bridge completely so that your truck can drive over it.

Once you're stocked up, your next stop is at the gas station. Go into the main building and use the hammer on the crowbar stuck in the cash register and grab the rifle off the floor if you haven't already. Fill up your gas canister while you're here too.

Your next stop should be the ruined house. You could go to the restaurant first, but going to the ruined house first is ultimately faster. There you'll meet Barry, another survivor who lost his wife the previous night. A brief side note, no matter what you had to deal with before, she'll always look intact. If you try to enter the house, he'll tell you not to, so talk to him first. He'll tell you what happened, and then you can try to convince him to go with you. Barry's not willing to go right away, so have Cate distract him while you go inside. Inside you'll see Barry's wife Maggie lying in the middle of the floor, click on her to get her locket and inspect it to find a note addressed to Barry inside of it. While you're inside, grab the broken fan and use the bed sheet to cover Maggie's body. Head back outside and give the locket to Barry. After a tense moment where Cate nearly shoots him, Barry reads the note and you agree to bury his wife despite Cate's complaints. Grab the shovel from the garage and go to the back of the house and use the shovel on the soft ground to dig a hole. Go inside, bring Maggie out with Cate's help, then go talk to Barry and tell him it's time for the burial. After all of that he'll join your party, and if you talk to him again you can get him to fix up your truck so it's more fuel efficient. This can only be done at his house, so it's best to do it before moving on.

Next stop is the restaurant. Go through the front door where you'll meet Cody, a starving kid trying to open up the door to the kitchen. He's pretty defensive right now so it's best to just leave him alone for now. Head to the back of the restaurant and use the short pipe on the release mechanism to get the rope and the flag. Ask either Barry or Cate to help you move the trash container so that you can climb in through the window and into the kitchen. Once inside, grab the air conditioner and the can of food. Use the crowbar on the stuck cabinet to open it and get the knife, which you then use to open the can of food. Open the freezer and grab the heat absorbing tiles from in there, and finally use the crowbar to open up the drink machine where there are two water bottles. Open the door leading back in to the restaurant, and give the can of food to Cody. He joins your party to make a full team. There's a path off to the side inside the restaurant, but you can't go any farther than that because yesterday's threat will still be blocking the way. It will clear up tomorrow though so don't worry about it for now.

Your final stop is the road block, you'll see tracks that weren't there yesterday. Follow them to find an RV, I recommend just walking there since it's only five minutes, and you'll have tons of time if you've been following this guide. Use the wrench to remove the hook from the RV and connect it to the rope, then connect that to the rock formation to explore the cave that is there next to the RV. You'll find that it is already pretty cold, so guess what? This is where you're spending the night. Before you set things up though, fuel the RV up, then go inside and grab the two water bottles there. Give one to Cate, Cody, and Barry for the night. Start the car up, then connect the extension cord to the RV's power socket and bring the other end down in to the cave. Install the air conditioner in the cave's entrance and plug it in to the socket, then fix the fan and plug that in too. Hit the heat absorbing tiles you got from the freezer with your hammer/crowbar/wrench to activate them and then place them on the floor. Finally, climb back up and put the flag over the opening.

You should have 7 hours and 17 minutes left this way, so head back to your base and use the extra time to remove the destroyed barricades and drop off any items you don't want to carry anymore. Go and fill up your gas canister again and do anything else you want to get done before returning to the cave and waiting out the night with your group and water bottle equipped.

Do all of this to get the No sweat achievement and another +5 Kg to your carry limit.
Day 2: Stay Cool
Day one is done, but there's no time for fun in the sun. In fact, instead of beach umbrellas and towels, you'd be better off breaking out the parkas and snow pants. There's a massive cold front coming and even inside your hideout you'll freeze to death if you aren't prepared for it. Here's your list for today's necessary tools:

  • Wrench
  • Screwdriver
  • Crowbar
  • Short pipe
  • Hammer
  • Shovel
  • Knife
  • Extension cord
  • Duct tape

If having a nightmare about freezing to death doesn't wake you up, then the sound of a helicopter literally crashing in to your house will do the trick. Go up to the attic and meet the helicopter's pilot Cate, who greets you with a gun to the face. After the introductions are out of the way, grab the screwdriver and extension cord on your way downstairs. At your storage box drop off the extension cord and grab the hammer, wrench, crowbar, and short pipe if you don't have them in your inventory already.

If you had to deal with spiders yesterday, remove one of the destroyed barricades with the hammer to get a handful of nails, then head to the bridge. Build up the bridge completely so that your truck can drive over it.

Go to the gas station and get the cash off of the floor, the lighter from the trinket stand, and the bag of charcoal next to where you got the gas canister and gas up if you need to.

While you're inside, grab the broken heater and the blue blanket, then use the bed sheet to cover Maggie's body. Open the closet and grab the two coats from inside of it. Head to the back of the house and grab the propane tank there, using then wrench, then go to the front and give the locket to Barry.

After trying and failing to do so yourself, ask either Barry or Cate to help you move the trash container so that you can climb in through the window and into the kitchen. Once inside, grab the gas heater and the can of food. Use the crowbar on the stuck cabinet to open it and get the knife, which you then use to open the can of food.

Head to the roadblock next. You'll find tire tracks that weren't there yesterday, follow them to find an RV and two dead survivors with nothing on them. Use the wrench on the hook attached to the back of the RV to remove it, then go inside. Grab the green blanket by the driver's seat, and open the overhead closet to find two more jackets. Now you have one for all your party members. Open the first aid kit to get some bandages and another blanket. Now that you have everything, it's time to return home.

Fill up the emergency power generator and use it to power the house. Combine the propane tank with the gas heater, and use the screwdriver to fix the electric heater. Dismantle the greenhouse entirely and collect the broken planks. Head inside and get the sticky note from yesterday's threat and the stack of documents you got from getting the paper clip as well as the duct tape and extension cord from your storage. Add some fuel and kindling to the fireplace, and add anything else you have for it to the kindling box. You can add:

  • Broken planks x4
  • Sticky note
  • Stack of documents
  • A wad of cash
  • Charcoal
  • Charcoal bag

Plug the extension cord into the socket in the kitchen. Turn the oven on, then bring the end of the extension cord to the living room and plug in the electric heater. Drop the gas heater to get that going as well. Combine the hook with the rope and climb on to the roof through the hatch. Go to the far side and use the hook rope to unclog the chimney, then go back inside and make sure to close the hatch behind you. Use one of the blankets or the flag to cover the attic hatch, then use the remaining ones to cover the windows, using the duct tape to secure them, after removing the destroyed barricades. With a full party it'll take a lot less time to do so. Make sure the doors are closed, light the fireplace and get ready for a warm night indoors in the living room.

If all goes well you'll wake up to a winter wonderland with the Stay Cool achievement and +5 to your weight limit.
Day 3: Not so shocking
Today's forecast calls for a 100% chance of acid rain along with thunder and lightning. Needless to say, you don't want to be outside when this happens. Before you can start looking for an umbrella however, Cate tells you that she's had a dream and knows where you can find information about where the launch pad is. Your tool list for today is as follows:

  • Wrench
  • Duct Tape
  • Extension cord
  • Broom

First stop, Sidereal Plexus' office. The main entrance is blocked, but you can climb the sand dune next to it to get up to the roof. Unfortunately, part of the sign falls and creates a huge hole in the roof. You make it to safety with Cate stuck on the other side of the hole, but Barry and Cody are dangling for their lives. Sadly, there's no way to save both of them, so chose one and make your way inside.

Once in the building, make your way down to the next floor and go through the door on the far left. Search the dead body to find an ID card and examine that to find a key. Grab the fax from the fax machine to find out where to get the coordinates for the launch pad. Use the key on the locked door which leads to the generator room. You'll need to connect the wires to turn the power on.

PIN A: 60, 10, -10, 10, -20

PIN B: 10, blank, -30, 0, 10

With the power on, you can now read the emails on the PC. Read "Hunt is on" for the location of a hunting cabin, and "ESCAPE" to learn where the launch pad is.

Open the elevator door and smash the glass protecting the fire hose open, then bring it to the elevator so you can climb down to the ground floor. Go through the corridors and into the lobby, where you'll find Barry/Cody slowly dying. After an emotional goodbye where you comfort them during their final moments, go down the corridor to your left and you'll get outside where you'll meet up with Cate again. Now you can begin preparing for the storm to come.

Head back to your hideout to grab the tools you need, then head to the hunter's lodge. Go inside and look at the scratches on the floor, then push the couch to reveal a hidden safe. Use the wrench/broom to push the trophy deer's antler back in place to open the safe, and take out the revolver, revolver ammo and rifle ammo. Go in to the back room and grab the broom, whiskey, and wooden boards. Go outside and use the broom to clean the leaves off of the solar panels, then go to the restaurant.

At the restaurant you'll be greeted at gun point by two soldiers, who will take you inside to meet their leader, Sarge, an army Sargent leading a small group of soldiers in what's left of the army. Talk to him and ask about where he's going, if he's seen any interesting areas, ideas for how to survive the storm, and about his injured man. Use the whiskey and bandage on Steve, then go outside to the back of the restaurant and talk to Paul. Ask him for help with the storm, and since you helped Steve he'll give you three storm catchers to set up. Ask him how to use them, and then if he could set up one on top of the hamburger sign. He'll tell you to go talk to Sarge, so go back inside once more and ask him. Sarge tells you that he'll do it if you can get him some weapons and ammo, so give him the revolver and revolver ammo, talk to him again about the deal and you're good to go after you give him one of the storm catchers. Stop at the gas station to get a full canister of gas and gas up your car if you need to, then head to the construction site Sarge told you about.

When you reach the construction site, go around to the equipment parking lot, crawl through the hole in the wall, and use the full canister on the generator. From there climb up the crane, open the cable box, connect your second storm catcher to it, then climb back down and turn the generator on before climbing back up again. Use the crane to move the heavy load off of the spool of copper wire, then move to the front to grab the tarp sitting next to the wheelbarrow.

From here, head back to the hunter's lodge and go to the back room. Plug in the extension cord and put it out the broken window. Head outside to the back and bring the extension cord up the giant tree and plug in the final storm catcher.

Finally head back home to get your base set up. Use the shovel on the ground outside of your base to dig ditches to lead the rainwater away, then head back inside and climb up on to the roof using the hatch. Use the copper wire on the chimney to make a lightening rod, and cover the helicopter with the tarp and use the duct tape to keep it in place. Close the hatch on your way back in, then cover up the windows with the wooden boards and duct tape. Check that the doors are closed.

Not only did you not need that umbrella after all, but you got the Not so Shocking achievement and another +5Kg to your weight limit.
Day 3: Blood Bath
Despite it having looked like you've been alone all this time, there are other living survivors out there. Unfortunately, they're not friendly like David, Cate, Cody, or Barry. These ones want you dead and if you can't stop them that's exactly how you're going to end up. Here's the tools you'll need for today:

  • Wrench
  • Rifle
  • Hammer

Before you can start preparing for the raiders, however, you have to head to Sidereal Plexus first. The main entrance is blocked, but you can climb the sand dune next to it to get up to the roof. Unfortunately, part of the sign falls and creates a huge hole in the roof. You make it to safety on one side of the hole with Cate stuck on the other, but Barry and Cody aren't so lucky and it's up to you to make a choice. Sadly, there's no way to save both of them, so chose one and make your way inside.

Once in the building, make your way down to the next floor and go through the door on the far left. Search the dead body to find an ID card and examine that to find a key. It's a bit hard to see, but there's a rifle silencer on the floor, make sure to get it.

Head to the gas station first where you'll overhear someone talking. Go in to the gas station and look out the window to hear more of the conversation. You'll see a biker and an army man talking about the plan to take your hideout and supplies. You'll also learn that there's twenty of them to your three, meaning you're outnumbered about six to one. Once the bikers leave, you can go out and talk to the army man who introduces himself as Sarge. After you're done talking with him, offer him the wrench to open up more dialog. Talk to him about the moon, help, him being a soldier, rethinking his life, and then suggest that he and his squad should leave and remind him that Razor, the leader of the bandits and the man he's working for, is an ass. Sarge agrees to leave at dusk, which brings the group of twenty down to fifteen. Sarge will leave after the conversation, so take the chance to fill up your gas canister and truck if you need to.

From here, head to the restaurant and go to the side area that you couldn't go through yesterday. Open the closet door and grab the bottle of oil.

Head to the hunter's lodge you learned about at Sidereal next. Head inside and examine the scratches on the ground next to the couch, then push the couch out of the way to reveal a hidden floor safe. To open it, use your wrench to push the antler on the hunter's trophy about the fireplace up. In the safe there is a revolver with ammo for it and your rifle. Load the revolver up with bullets then give it to Barry. Cate already has her own gun so she's good there. Go to the back room to find a bear trap, a rifle scope, and a bottle of whiskey. Go behind the lodge to find bear traps. If you had spiders on day one, there will only be one bear trap there, but otherwise there will be three. Get them, and then head back home.

Once home, place all four bear traps outside of your house. Your journal will let you know if you set them up correctly or not. If you had spiders on day one, use the wrench to get them out and reset the traps. Attach the scope and silencer to your rifle.

It's time to head to the construction site now. The front entrance is a no go, so you'll have to go through the equipment parking lot. You'll find a thug standing guard, and a crow picking at a carcass. Despite your stomach possibly rolling, inspect the carcass to get a maggot, then throw it on to the fence shelf to the left of the thug. While he's distracted, sneak in through the hole in the wall. If you had to deal with spiders on day one, you'll find a piece of metal bars lying next to the hole, if not, there are metal bars at the gas station, so grab one set from there. Inside the construction site, you'll find some boxes of ammo and food supplies. Pour the oil on the ammo to sabotage it, and leave the whiskey with the food supplies. On the way out, use the rifle on the guard thug to take him out. He's busy cleaning his gun so he won't notice you until it's too late.

Head back home now. Use the metal bars on the first floor window and secure it with nails. Unlike the rest of the threats in the game, the raiders can't get to the second floor from outside so you can leave your upstairs barricades alone. Make sure both doors are closed AND locked, because also unlike the other threats in the game, these guys have opposable thumbs. Head up to the helicopter with the rifle and rifle ammo and prepare to be raided.

In the morning, you'll have survived to see another day with another +5Kg to your weight limit and the Blood bath achievement.
Day 4: Breathe
Today's the day you gotta get off of Earth and in to space. Don't worry about your base, it won't survive no matter what you do so grab the supplies you need and get going:

  • Screwdriver
  • Wrench
  • Knife/glue gun
  • Shovel
  • Welding kit
  • Protective gloves
  • Rope with hook
  • ID card
  • Crowbar

Once you've got your supplies don't head straight to the space station. You have to make two quick stops first. Depending on what you had to deal with yesterday, you'll either have look at the motorcycle in front of your house or go to the restaurant to find a pair of protective gloves. If you have to go to the restaurant they're right in the middle of the floor so they're easy to find.

Next it's to the construction sight. Go through the front door and use the gloves to climb up the rusty scaffolding. At the top connect the rope and hook to the buckle and climb down to get the welder kit, then climb back up the rope and down the scaffolding to regroup.

Fill up your gas canister, then it's time to head to the ship. On the way there you find a crashed bus. Go inside and grab the Lab 13 key from the back of the bus, then continue to the launchpad.

There isn't much to see on the outside, but that changes on the outside. As you reach the door you're stopped by an automated doormat that will kill you if you don't use the ID card on the scanner within five seconds. Once you're inside, open the fuse box and rewire it turn the doormat off and turn the elevator on. I recommend working backwards from the elevator light to the fuse for an easier time. With your team safely inside, call for the elevator and head inside. The lights will turn on after you take a few steps forward. Enter the opened door and turn the lights on with the switch. Grab the piece of paper and the ID and continue down the corridor. There's a door right after the room you were in, but it's locked with a finger print scanner so you can't get in there for now. Move down the hall and finally lay eyes on the space ship.

Use the red ID card on the card scanner to get inside and go to the control room to see what state the ship is in using the diagnostic screen. Open the Silo hatch with the Silo hatch control, then move to the air composition control to adjust the air composition. This is easy to figure out how to do and shouldn't take very long. Get the two highest bars up to the top first, then work on the others and adjust as needed.

Go over to the mainframe computer and inspect the opened slot to get a Duplexer which you'll need to fix the radar. Go back outside and examine the radar. Use the screwdriver to remove the access panel and insert the Duplexer, grabbing the metal plate as well. Go back in and remove the transmission belt from the engine and go back to the ship. Go down the launch pad and use the transmission belt on the elevator's engine to enter the ship. Inside you'll find that there's a giant crack in the ship's inside, a filter is missing and there's no auxiliary air tanks. Plug the welder kit in and use that and the metal plate to fix the crack.

Now it's time to travel all the way to the other side of the map to Sidereal Plexus' office. You'll need the Lab 13 key with you. Use the key on the lab door and head inside. Get the two sets of vials, one is on the desk and the other is on a shelf, and insert them into the chemical mixer. To create the lung capacity pills, mix the yellow, light blue, and red vials together to create the chemical formula on the sheet you grabbed. Make sure to give your two teammates each a pill for later.

From here, you can either head upstairs and use the knife to cut off the dead guy's finger with the knife, or you can use the hot glue gun on the finger print on the bus and get it off with the screwdriver.

Head back to the launch pad and use whatever fingerprint you got to open the locked door. Inside there are two weird devices. Grab the one on the right which is the missing filter for the ship. Go to the control room and look at the radar to find a crashed plane, then go in to the ship to install the filter.

Drive to the plane and use the shovel to clear the sand blocking the entrance. Go to the cockpit to find a cargo list and use the crowbar to open up the crate with the air tanks in it.

Return to the ship and install the air tanks, double check that you haven't forgotten anything, and drop whatever you're carrying so that your weight is under 1Kg.

Don't forget to take your pills as you launch in to space and be rewarded with the Breathe achievement and reaching the moon.
Day 4: Cooking with Gas
Today's the day you gotta get off of Earth and in to space. Don't worry about your base, it won't survive no matter what you do so grab the supplies you need and get going:

  • Screwdriver
  • Wrench
  • Knife/glue gun
  • Shovel
  • Welding kit
  • Protective gloves
  • Rope with hook
  • ID card
  • Crowbar

Once you've got your supplies don't head straight to the space station just yet, you have to make two quick stops first.

Fill up your gas canister if you have to, then it's time to head to the ship. On the way there you find a crashed bus. Go inside and grab the Lab 13 key from the back of the bus, then continue to the launchpad.

There isn't much to see on the outside, but that changes as you get closer. As you reach the door you're stopped by an automated doormat that will kill you if you don't use the ID card on the scanner within five seconds. Once you're inside, open the fuse box and rewire it to turn the doormat off and turn the elevator on. I recommend working backwards from the elevator light to the fuse for an easier time. With your team safely inside, call for the elevator and head on down. The lights will turn on after you take a few steps forward. Enter the opened door and turn the lights on with the switch. Grab the piece of paper and the ID and continue down the corridor. There's a door right after the room you were in, but it's locked with a finger print scanner so you can't get in there for now. Move down the hall and finally see the space ship for yourself.

Use the red ID card on the card scanner to get inside and go to the control room to see what state the ship is in using the diagnostic screen. Open the Silo hatch with the Silo hatch control, then move to the air composition control to adjust the fuel mixture.

Before heading into the ship, you'll see that there's a giant crack in the ship's fin. Use the welding kit and the piece of metal you got to fix it up, then head in to the ship to inspect it. You'll find that there's a navigation chip missing along with an engine calibrator.

Head back to Sidereal Plexus and use the key to open the lab 13 doors. Grab the two vials and insert them into the chemical mixer and make the combination on the piece of paper you grabbed using the different chemicals. For this one you need to combine the green, pink, and light blue vials together to get the fuel catalyst, then return to the outpost. To get a finger print to open the sealed door, either get the glue gun, take the batteries out of the remote and put them in there, and use that and the screwdriver on the smudged hand print in the bus, or when you go to Sidereal Plexus cut off the dead guy's finger and use that.

Examine the radar screen to find the location of a crashed air plane and make your way there. Use the shovel to clear the sand from the ship's entrance and head inside of it. Go to the cockpit and get a cargo list from the dead pilot. On it you'll find which box has the navigation chip in it and use the crowbar to open it. With fingerprint, catalyst and Nav chip in tow head back to the outpost.

Use the fingerprint to open the sealed door. Inside you'll find two strange devices, the one you want is on the left, as it's the calibrator. Go to the launch pad and use the catalyst on the console, then go into the ship and install the Navigation chip and calibrator. Get rid of everything in your bag, then head back into the ship and prepare for lift off.

With all of this done, you'll finally reach the moon and achieve the Cooking with Gas achievement.
Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Don't Escape, Treasure Hunters, Tour Guide, Let's build a snowman, Dead Bird Space, Don't forget
Because these are all short and relatively easy, I decided to lump them all together for the sake of simplicity. Here they are as followed:

Day 1/2/3/4: You get these by beating those days. It doesn't matter if you get perfect, all you have to do is live to see the next day and you're good.

Don't Escape: You get this one for beating the game at least once, that means surviving all four days.

Treasure hunters: At the RV, talk to Cody and he'll say that there might be buried treasure in the area. Try to use the shovel, and Cate will call you a kid.

Tour Guide: Take Barry to all of the locations you can go to as of day 2 and ask him what he thinks of each of them. He'll give you a quick bit of information about them, and tell you about the former residents of your hide out.

Let's build a Snowman: If you had to deal with the cold on your second day, when you go out to the back you'll find a snowman. You have to talk to Cody and ask him about the day before ending it for this to happen, so don't forget to do that.

Dead Bird Space: In the chimney there's a dead bird. Get it out using the rope and hook, then take it out in to space on the rocket.

Don't Forget: On day three you'll have to choose between saving either Cody or Barry from falling to their death. After getting out of the Sidereal Plexus office, you can immediately go back inside and make a grave for them.
Awakening, Escape, The Family
I'm grouping these three together because they are VERY spoiler heavy and are all closely related to each other. These are spoilers for the game's ending, so don't read if you want to try and find it on your own first.

Awakening: To get this achievement, on day 3 when you're at Sidereal Plexus you need to read the email "PINS" to learn that you can rewire the generator to turn the lights on the floor below you on. Once you've done that, go back to the generator room and rewire the pins so that they're like this:

PIN A: 10, blank, -30, 5, 10

PIN B: 60, 10, -10, 0, -20

Head back downstairs and the lights will now be on, and you'll be greeted with two door that you couldn't see before in the darkness. If you saved Cody, remove the vent and have him crawl in to open the door from the other side. If you chose Barry, have him help you move the pipe out of the way. In either room you'll find a floppy disc. KEEP THIS WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES, it is extremely important for later! On day 4 when you reach the space station on the moon, insert the disc into the control panel before going in to your sleeper pod. Doing this will get you the achievement, and unlock Awakened mode which is needed to get the other two achievements.

The Family: After having unlocked Awakened mode, on night three a staircase will appear. Go up it, and depending on who died last time talk to either Maggie, Barry's dead wife, or to Cody's stuffed tiger. They'll tell you to warn them about going to Sidereal Plexus and give you a message to give to them. When you go to Sidereal Plexus ask Cody/Barry to stay behind, and when you go on to the roof you'll only have to save one person while the other is safely down by the truck. You'll reunite, and once you've all entered the sleeper pods you'll get the achievement.

Escape: You have to have saved both Cody and Barry for this one. After you've gotten out of Sidereal Plexus and have regrouped, head back up to the floor where the floppy discs are and get both of them by having Cody crawl through the vent and getting Barry to help you push the pipe out of the way. Once you've gotten both discs, hold on to them until you're at the space station and use both of them to get the game's true ending.

@Teimo you giving advice on how to get '' Lone survivor '' while not having that achievement yourself is some crazy work . At least i'm giving advice about this game and i have every achievement on it since 5 . th june 2023 . Even though as you see i don't remember everything about it , but i'll play through it again despite me having every achievement , because this game is 10 / 10 masterpiece really can't think of any bugs or anything wrong that i didn't like . And if you are going to ask if i want a cookies , yes actually a cookie would be nice .

But i guess you are kinda bad at this game if you are looking for advice and help for achievements and how to play on this steam and steam guides in general and if you not looking for easier solutions on youtube which are easy to find there too .
Alekscrusher 3 Sep @ 3:17pm
@Lemon Nade bro how bad are you at the game how do you not have this achievement ? ''The Family
Make sure everybody survives.'' . You trying to get '' Lone survivor '' before this achievement is just crazy .
Alekscrusher 3 Sep @ 3:15pm
You know what just follow this guide on youtube : https://youtu.be/T6J7SAZv_Q8?si=FHBEHHUJmckcLU5i . As i said then you will get 2 achievements you don't have in 1 playthrough easily . No car and lone survivor in 1 playthrough with this guide .
Alekscrusher 3 Sep @ 3:14pm
But mess up only few things like 1 - 2 , but test around with it since you can load saves . Do it until any character dies and everyone else including you survives . And actually only having Kate , because she is always with you even if you don't recruit / save her . And it's smart choice actually to not recruit / save any of the 2 main characters Cody and Barry , because then you don't have to waste time to burry Barry's wife or don't have to get food for Cody and then you can mess up more things on each night and still survive at least i think it works that way i've never tried it . My method as i said before was to kill everyone off one by one . But not recruiting anyone and with no car yes don't recruit anyone and no car is also possible to do at least according to those youtube videos i've never tried it and then you have 2 achievements in 1 playthrough which is very good .
Alekscrusher 3 Sep @ 3:07pm
Do you want me to send links to those aka write of youtube video guides of this achievement or you will find them yourself ? . They are lone survivor recruit nobody both of them don't even have to kill anybody or you could use my method . Recruit / save everyone / everybody and kill off barry on day 2 by letting sun cook him or he freezes to death doesn't matter different scenarios same outcome . Then kill off cody by drowning him on day 3 idk about bandits since i had thunderstorm on that run / save and on day 4 just forget to do 1 important thing before launching rocket and kate will die shortly after landing on moons surface and then you are lone survivor and then after that achievement is guaranteed . part 1 , because comment again was too long .
