Important Notes
  • When I say "a very late game enemy" I mean an enemy located far east. Enemies don't scale over time, they instead scale proportionally on how far east they are encountered.

  • With the Ascended Edition some enemies were changed. I have updated this guide with all the info I could gather, if you are having problems finding an enemy check it's info again.

  • There are no nodes in the ocean, to find water enemies you must travel to point A to point B with water in between. You will see your character travelling with a tiny boat, if you encounter an enemy while in this state the enemy will be a water one. Note that the game doesn't have a distinction for shallow or deep water enemies, in Kingsway water is just water

  • I have listed where every enemy spawns more often, but this doesn't mean you can't encounter them anywhere else. This list isn't gonna mention every possible random chance to find each enemy, only the most common places.

  • Bosses aren't required to complete the bestiary.

Got the achievement. Just had to ask for rumors at every possible occassion and after enough encounters the RNG finally was on my side - ike you said in an area to the far right of the island.

@DurchUndDurchDurch I have made this guide several years ago, but if my memory is right the wanderer is simply one of the many random events that happen during exploration. It's a node asking to kill a powerful enemy in another node.

When you accept and arrive to the destination the node can spawn different enemies, like the Rune Knight, which will only spawn if this event is triggered at east. If you happen to find this node in a low level area you can simply choose to ignore the wanderer like any other random event, but I would never recommend to ignore any events during gameplay as they help anyways with EXP and loot.

Don't worry, they may be a bit obscure to find but when you know the conditions to make them spawn you may see them in no time.

I need help with the Runic Warrior and the Wretch because I don't know how to get these "powerful enemy nodes". How do I need to interact with wanderers? And which wanderer events can I ignore?

Man I wish there was another way to get the Goat Man Alt because I absolutely refuse fighting the goat man in this quest

@PurifiedDrinkingWater Thanks alot for the comment, It seems that two images from the guide were taken down. I've reuploaded both and the enemy missing from your bestiary seems to be "Something Deep", in the ascended edition enemies

@Undeadsniper714 its throughout all runs, you can check what you have unlocked while you're in a run by clicking the bottom left menu and going to the information section
Father Falafel 1 Feb, 2022 @ 11:22am
Do we have to fight every enemy all in one go? Or can i use multiple runs.
Is there a way to see what we have unlocked and what is missing?
