Keystones - Gameplay & 100% Achievement Guide

In order to obtain the achievements, you will need to solve all 30 levels using a certain amount of moves (equal to the minimum number of steps in which a level can be solved).

This guide lists the optimal solutions for each of these levels.

Most of the levels require a certain order of moves, so please make sure to check the numbers attached to each arrow.

Gameplay basics
Goals
The goal in every level is to move the inner squares so that their colors match the outer frame.
For multicolored tiles, at least one of the inner colors needs to match one of the outer colors.

Basic mechanics
  • Two tiles will swap whenever one of the inner colors matches one of the outer frame colors.
  • Tiles can be pushed under specific circumstances: when only one tile in a match fits the frame of the other, the incompatible one will be pushed to the next free frame that can accommodate it. To complete levels in the least moves, it is often necessary to block some unwanted destination outer frames before a desired push move.
  • Whenever there is a connector between two titles, the inner colors must match the color of the separator. Only the half that is oriented towards the separator is taken in consideration (the other side can be a different color). Example:

Connecors
There are two types of connectors:
  • A solid line means that the connection must be maintained until the end of the level. By default, the connection is grayed out; a blinking connection means that it is satisfied from only one side, while a solid color means that it's satisfied from both sides.


  • A line with arrows on it means that after the connection is satisfied on the side from which the arrows start, the connector will disappear and the color of the connector will be transferred to the outer destination block. If the destination is bicolor, only the half that faces the connector will change the color, otherwise the whole block will change the color.

Controls
The squares can be moved using the mouse by dragging and dropping or by using the keyboard controls:
Enter / Return - to select / deselect one tile
WSAD / Arrow keys - to move the selection


Note: the level screenshots were taken when the game had a display bug for the connectors (please disregard how the connectors look). The solutions are correct.
