3. Copy the contents of the patch to your game installation folder, in my case Steam\SteamApps\common\Faery - Legends of Avalon

* Note that you now have a faerysteam.exe and a faery.exe in this folder. Running faery.exe worked for me, but it bypassed steam completely (no steam overlays etc), so I renamed it faerysteam.exe to replace the origianl faerysteam.exe. Still won't get you achievements though.
