This is basically the same mod as original:

The only difference is that ERE, WRE and Sassanids are excluded from being able to make confederations as this is pretty unhistorical.

The mod gives all Occupation and Diplomatic Options to All Factions. Huns do not have the ability to Settle.
Diplomatic Options: Confederations, Client States, Satrapies
Occupation Options: Colonize, Liberate, Loot, Occupy, Raze, Resettle, Sack, Vassal

Compatible with save games, most other mods and patches but meant specifically to be used with FotE+EP Revised:

@Firebird: Certain personalities are set to be unreliable. As the game progresses, the available personalities are less and less reliable. You can counter this by having vassals or client states.

Nice mod. What is the difference between a client state and a vassal in the game? Which one is the same as a puppet?

diplomacy has never worked for me the ai breaks alliances like leaves in the wind i can subjugate half the world and if a dead faction with just a navy and 2 soldiers alive declares war on me the whole world rebels and then the next turn begs for peace. the game is pretty broken. only reason i love this mod is for making all my relative factions join mine so i dont have to worry about their retard brain.

IMHO , most issues ppl have with Attila is lack of or misunderstanding of game mechanics.

puppet state = no diplomatic options except trade
vassal = tributary state = full diplomatic options + defensive alliance

You still have to meet criteria, none of these options are forced on the faction in diplomacy. All this mod does it make them available options (if conditions fit). A strong faction is not likely to become a puppet state , no matter how strong you are. (same faction, weakened, under threat from a strong neighbour is more likely to do so)

Diplomacy is based on many factors.

For example if someone hates you and they are not under threat, their leader is not reliable, you have poor history with them, they like someone your ar war with etc, they likely will break from you as soon as they can.
Just because you can make them for example a puppet state , doesn't make it smart without further actions, or better relationship 1st, or never. OR it might be a smart move to give you a breather for 10 turns....

Subjugating doesn't work. Either they only like me and do not become my puppet, or become my puppet but break away soon.
