Inara Class Transport

This is an Ion powered transport craft that I build for long distance hauls and moderate yield mining missions. The ship is built for two but can easily carry more if needed. It is completely vanilla and survival ready

I took some aesthetic inspiration from some Battlestar Galactica ships among other things.

Four large cargo container provide a solid amount of storage and a forward hanger can either be used for asteroid mining vessels or a small to medium sized defensive fighter.

It has a single jump drive which provides short range jump capability.

Maneuverability is decent although the reverse thrust is somewhat lacking (I usually use the forward thrusters to decelerate)

The ship itself has no armaments but could easily be retrofitted by replacing the connector at the top with a turret and/or removing some of the paneling on the bottom (the conveyor system primarily runs through the floor)

This Craft is fully capable of landing on the moon with a solid amount of cargo. It is not capable of planetary flight although I have made a hydrogen powered version which is capable of this which can be found here:
