CameraRotation and WASD Controls for Civilization V (vanilla)
by alpaca and Nutty

Adds camera rotation and WASD controls to the game.

Also see the WASD and non-WASD versions for vanilla Civilization V, Gods + Kings, Brave New World, and Civ V Unofficial Patch.

The rotation doesn't work superbly (you sometimes rotate into map borders for example), which is probably why the devs didn't add it by default, but it works.

Press and hold numpad / or SHIFT + LeftArrow or SHIFT + A to rotate clockwise. Likewise, press numpad * or SHIFT + RightArrow or SHIFT + D to rotate counter-clockwise.

For those accustomed to first person shooters, this also allows W (for up), A (for left), S (for down), and D (for right) to be used, in addition to the arrow keys, to control the camera. Note that some ingame hotkeys will be changed or disabled as a result.

New hotkeys:
Z - Alert (think Zzz OR snooZe)
Z - Automate Worker
Ctrl+D - Disembark
X - Scrub Fallout
X - Set Up Artillery
X - Airstrike
Alt+X - Air Sweep

Compatibility: This mod changes UI/InGame/WorldView/WorldView.lua

FUCK YEAH!!!! FINALLY!!!!

Alright, from my understanding this mod would have worked with all variants. When using the BNW version i can move units to cities again. Thanks :)

What other mods are you using?

And just to confirm: this version is for those that don't have any of the expansions (Gods+Kings and Brave New World). Click on the "Also see..." link in the description If you do. If you have both, you would just use the BNW one.

This mod seems to prevent my military units from moving into my own cities.

How do I send you my WorldView.lua o.o

I haven't used Civ with a Mac, but I understand the mod menu needs to be enabled by some small edits; it sounds like you've done that much already. Do other mods work for you? If not, you might check out the information on the Mac subforum of CivFanatics.com .

If so, I'll want you to send me your WorldView.lua so I can see if the syntax is different for Macs, though that would surprise me.

Also, just to confirm you are aware: this version of the mod is only if you have neither of the 2 expansions. If you have BNW or just G+K, you want the version for that release.

This isnt working for me,I enabled it and all,the mod seems to be in use,but it just does not work.Seems that the problem lies just with only this mod.
Btw using a macbook..Might be the problem
