These are examples of successful approaches to win levels as most game levels can be beaten through different alternative plans. And that makes hidden and dangerous a unique great WWII game.

Snowball- First strike

Silently clear the forest at the begining using the knife and silent weapons. After contacting the guide divide the team into 2 groups. Group A will follow the guide and take the stealth pathway using cover and silently eleminating enemies till breaching the complex from the rear side. Group B will then take the direct pathway.

Snowball- Scout
Choose the man with best stealth


Wait for the sleeping guard to wake up then sneak and knife him as he walks to turn on the light. Take his keys to open the door, sneak stealthy and knife or silently kill a patrolling guard on the way. Then enter the big room with a men painting the wall to capture him, take his cloths and weapon to continue the mission in disguise mode.

Snowball- Renezvous

As soon at the beginning go to the tactical map and order other team members to line themselves inside the walls covering entries. Then control the sniper and quickly climb the high tower before arrival of the first enemy attack wave. Hunt carefully as you can while in crouched position.
After eliminating enemies you can wait for the 2nd wave or quickly advance other members with one of them using the machine gun tower at the gate.
Proceed with all team members covering each others. You can use the stealth man to sneak along the lake bank and grenade enemies. Continue with the team together till the end.


Hint: Team work is important and saves lives. So always keep all soldiers covering each others and don't leave useless ones behind. Also the splitting apart strategies usually end in failure.

Snowball- Iceberg

Silently kill any enemies up the hill and when all clear, split into two teams. In the tactical map setup a signal I pathway for the snipers to the top of the hill covering the island. Control the other 2 members to attack the barracks giving the signal I order on the way so the snipers will provide covering fire. After that begin clearing the barracks then the submarine.


Hint: If you need to move a soldier across an open field to a vantage point with lower chance of being hit, line your friends facing the enemy from a safe distance and give them the order "lay covering fire" to distract them, then move your man quickly.
Fire from different directions causes significant confusion among the enemy.
Nomads- Spaghetti airport

Begin silently by jeep driving in a wide round overlooking the airport with the stealth man carefully clearing the bunkers on the way using one grande at the first bunker then the knife at the second undetected by the airport crew. All team members are given the "fire on my lead" order.
Then position the jeep on a vantage point covering the tents, the hanger and the main building with one man operating the vehicle machine gun and two men on both sides.
Move the stealth man to the tents and let him open fire and destroy the plane occupied by a pilot before flying. The rest of the team will open fire in turn eliminating most enemies and destroying planes. An attacking Italian enemy convoy including a tank will arrive at that time so, try to shoot as many infantry as you can before the tank gets nearer then get into the jeep quickly and move towards the main building attacking enemies on the way then let the team leave the car and break into the roof. Once on the roof the remaining will be easier.



Hint: The best way to eliminate a moving tank is to play hide and seek with it. Spread the team under cover. Draw its attention on one side using gunfire or grenades and take it down from other side using explosives or one RPG shoot aimed at the back of the turret.
Nomads- Air show

Drive the jeep or flack truck and attack the first enemy area with machine gun post. Place the car opposite to the MG post so the heavy weapons will cover opposite directions. Then let one or two men out of the car as a bait for the fighter planes. Wait for the right time when a plane attacks and shoot it down with heavy weapon. After getting rid of planes drive ahead and stop before the next enemy area. Get the team out of the car taking cover inside the bomber made land pits then control the sniper to climb to the top of the hill overlooking the enemy area and start hunting them watching out of the deadly flack 9 mm cannon and try also to shoot the escaping radio operator.
Then get the gunner to the area taking cover and hunting. That will draw the enemy tank's attention to move towards the team. Retreat quickly near other friends waiting for the tank then play hide and seek with it till you can get it.
Carefully kill other enemies beginning with the one operating the flack cannon. Then advance with the jeep and the remaining will be easier.

Watch and wait for the sniper on the top of the tower to move away then move the team quickly crouching behind the sand dunes then crawling to reach the scrambled walls for cover.
If the sniper is in disguise, he can enter the oasis, knife any lone enemy on his way without being detected and climb the high tower. Silently kill the sniper, take his scoped rifle and snipe all the guards over the walls and ramparts.
The other men will go around the oasis using the scrambled walls for cover and tacking care of the guards on the walls. Then they engage through the main gate and do a circular sweep inside.


Nomads- Caravan

Gather the team inside and give the medic a weapon. Start mining the entries within the barbed wires outside the main gate and outside another wall corner defect.
Then setup the team in defensive positions; 2 men on the roof of the mosque covering a wall defect with ramp, one rifle man with RPG over a high point at the far corner and the medic in prone position covering the main gait.
Control the gunner with RPG to send the SAS radio report and quickly climb over the wall near the machine gun post overlooking the approaching German convoy. Get ready and give the team " fire on my lead " order.
Wait for a moving tank to get nearer and without drawing its attention try to take it down with one shoot at a time aiming at the back of it's turret. Then quickly take control of the machine gun at the rampart and kill as many approaching infantries as possible from long distance before retreating and defending.
The other RPG man on the far side can destroy other attacking trucks and eliminate enemies using rifle and grenades.


Nomads- Whiskey bar

Infiltrate the bunkers and refill with ammo. Then infiltrate the plane hangers shooting enemies on the way then take shelter inside from an attacking tank. Take it down as usual then snipe and destroy as far guards, planes, vehicles and fuel tanks as you can from this area of hangers.
Advance to the parking area and destroy the active tank there. Steal a parking tank, do a sweep around the airport buildings shooting enemies on the way with the tank's machine gun. Also unload the tank's cannons on windows of the main building. When all clear, breach the buildings and use the roofs for snipping of any remaining enemies.

Nomads- Birds of prey
Use the rear machine guns on the plane to shoot the enemy fighter planes attacking from behind. At times of reloading of one gun switch to the other one. And if you missed an attacking fighter and it passed ahead, switch to the front machine gun and try to take it down from behind.



Sea wolf- Steam piping

Move to the minesweeper, control the stealthiest man and climb the far rope ladder. sneak to the back of the ship, take off the aqualung and silently kill a paroling guard. Carefully bring the rest of the team to the back of the ship one by one. Move the sniper and climb a ladder to the place behind 3 covered wooden boats making sure that he is out of enemy's sight. Snipe the guards patrolling on the upper stories of the ship starting from the top one then down. After clearing, bring other members and place 3 men in prone position over the wooden boots so they can cover the stairs to upper stories.
One man can quickly run up the stairs to the top then lie down or take cover. After that stepping noise, any enemies who become suspicious and try to come to the source of noise will be killed instantly by covering friends.
Pick up enemies on the front of the ship from above then go indoors in a stealthy way.

Stranger- Anthill
1- Gunner (blue)

Hint: Mostly I choose 1 as the strongest man with best endurance, 2 as the stealthiest, 3 as the sharp shooter and 4 as the mule with the highest carrying capacity. Any man with the highest first aid ability will become the medic.


Send one man along the riverbank to sneak and hunt while the other men providing cover from the other side of the dirt road on the elevated ground. Pass by the main bridge and continue till the fallen tree bridge over the river. Do some sniping with the rifleman under cover till the opposite riverbank becomes apparently clear then, get one man to quickly cross the river after ordering other men to lay covering fire in order to distract the enemy manning the machine gun post.
Having the whole team crossed the river, proceed to the machine gun post overlooking the camp and silently kill the man inside. position one man over the hill with a clear view of the camp court and order him " fire on my lead" then with the other men attack and infiltrate the Akyab settlement using grenades and firepower.
After that continue on the drawn pathway watching out of the numerous machine gun posts on the way.

Stranger- Mountain king

Quickly move the men on grass with the attacking allies in wide formation to minimize losses under the bombing shells. Take short pauses at the rocky slopes on the way for cover, first aid and reloading. Loop grenades on any approaching enemy from above. Then; with the team in tight formation, run quickly through the burnt land using the fallen trees and rocky slopes for cover and gather the team in an abandoned bunker for shelter. Get one man to climb the stairs out and carefully kill the enemy manning the machine gun then follow with other men. After reaching and securing the top of the hill, open the hatches and fire in the holes before infiltrating the bunker.

Challenger- Babes in the wood

At the beginning, deal with the 3 patrolling guards. Either shoot them or set mines on their track. Then advance and stop before the open area with guards and civilians cutting wood, position 2 men in defensive mood under tree shades covering the area after giving them "Wait for my shot" order. The heavy gunner can sneak stealthy and position him also in defensive mood at a point covering the enemy area from the other side of the road. Control the leader and as soon as he makes the first kill shot, other men will open fire and simultaneously eliminate all enemies before giving them chance to use deadly grenades.
Proceed with the team to the next area then split into two groups; 2 men along the river and 2 men along the main road covering each others. Use RPG to destroy a moving half truck. Get the sniper to carefully pass through a fallen tree bridge to a vantage point over a rocky hill. From this position he can snipe enemies at a machine gun post then cover the upcoming road for defense.
Position 2 other men for cover over another hilly terrain with machine gun post. Control one man and use him as a bait to attract enemies to the area covered by his friends.
Advance until reaching the area of the house and there comes the stealthy phase. Position 3 men in defensive position covering the road beside the house then control the stealthiest man to sneak around the area till reaching the back of the house and severe the telephone line. Then break through the door into the house and his friends will deal with any approaching enemy outside.



Hint: Always use high terrains for cover.
Challenger- Estate agent

As a driver disguise, hand the documents to the officer then return and wait for the soldiers who begin loading the truck with cargo. Leave them and go upstairs to meet the agent then follow her to the archive and take the document. After that, defend against the attacking enemy and follow by clearing the room ahead with the connected corridor and stairway of any approaching enemy. When all clear, re-arm yourself and arm the agent with MP 40, Karabiner K98, grenades, first aid and protective helmets. Give her the order to follow in close formation and fire at will then flee to the gate.

Overlord- Lighthouse

Enter the fortress through the underwater passage to the basement then climb the ladder and leave the scuba gear. With 3 stealth men go quickly in tight formation to the nearest stairway to the roof and silently kill any wondering enemy on the way. With extreme caution open the door to roof and pick out any visible enemies beginning with the dangerous ones manning the flack cannons. Then infiltrate the roof and arrange the 3 men prone in defensive position.
Bring the sniper up to the roof and climb the nearest watch tower to practice sniping. Other men will cover against coming enemies. Sweep the roof, loop grenades down the central fortress court and hit any visible enemies from above. Shoot the sniper at the lighthouse and other enemies beneath.
Then go down and attack with the whole team.

Overlord- Blade dancer

Fight through the streets with all team members covering each others. Quickly cross the streets avoiding the regular bombing shells. Infiltrate ruined buildings and use their windows and roofs for sniping and cover. Loop grenades into hidden areas with hidden and dangerous enemy. After eliminating enemy snipers, enter the bank and defend against the attacking enemy including a tank.



Hint: Always use higher ground for cover.
Liberator- Billable entry

A tough mission. In the first phase, the stealth man will have to enter the station building and reach the agent in time.
Immediately control the stealth man to cut the fence, cross the railway to the other side and crawl on the grass without detection. Then crouch run on grass towards a tree cover and ensure that it obliterates the enemy's line of sight. From behind the tree, silently snip all visible enemies without detection then run and crawl on grass away from enemy patrols till reaching a small house. Enter the house and capture the officer inside to take his cloths and parabellum. Then go out quickly as disguise till reaching the station backyard. Climb the water pipe and breech through the open window on 2nd floor. Get to the agent and kill the interrogating officers then turn off the light and hold position to defend against coming enemies rushing to investigate.
After that, comes the 2nd phase to start full power attack with the other team members.



Hint: For proper cover around a corner or door, Position the team at one line of angle with one standing behind one crouching behind one prone.

Liberator- Mole in the hole
Fight through the tunnel with 2 men outside, one man inside the train and one sniper along the train roof to snip and loop grenades.


Liberator- Business

Wait till the 2 patrolling guards on the road get nearer then stand and shoot them to open fire and quickly attack with full team power to reach the cottage and barn. There, place 3 men to cover the doors and get one man inside the cottage to practice sniping through the windows.
Then retreat the team back, cross the road, go through the garden heading to villa's backyard and loop grenades through windows. Break into the villa and do sniping from upper floor. Then sweep around the area.



Hint: If an enemy manages to through a grenade towards the team, immediately switch to the tactical map and assign fast escape routes for every member.
Liberator- Annual fair

Grenade or shoot the talking enemies nearby and climb to snipe through a roof window. Go around the back of the ruins and go indoors first to scan and clear the road. Then go outside and make a round through the streets of the village using the cover, bait and retreat technique at each crossroad or corner.

Liberator- Gin send off

Rocket to destroy the parked enemy trucks ahead and retreat to team for cover against coming enemies. Then, go to prepare against the enemy convoy.
Plan A: Place anti-tank and anti-infantry mines.
Plan B: One man with a sticky explosive waits behind the cover of a concrete post of a fence. When the convoy approaches throw a grenade to get rid of infantry then as soon as the tank comes beside, stick the explosive and run fast through the crossroad.
Plan C: The last chance in which the RPG man waits behind the wall corner for the tank to pass by. Then a one RPG hit to destroy aimed at the back of tank's turret.
Use the destroyed tank for cover to defend against enemies. Then make a round through the village to eliminate remaining enemy.

Liberator- Final showdown

Place 2 men prone over a hill with a clear sight of enemies at radio station and give them " fire on my lead" command. Control one man to sneak towards the radio station keeping low profile and using ground slopes for cover. Sneak around till getting behind the tank then open fire to kill all the tank commanders talking together. The remaining team will take care of other enemies.
Occupy the tank, drive little ahead and fire tank cannons into the far enemy tents, flak gun and machine gun post. Use the sniper to complete clearance then get to the tents and practice sniping to the area in front of the bunker. Move the tank and fire cannons into the flak guns and main bunker buildings at machine gun sites. Then leave the tank to avoid moving over the tank mines then proceed with the team to the bunker. Get to the roof, fire in the holes then infiltrate.

Silently infiltrate the outside barracks and take the keys to enter the main base. At each door or corner, line 3 men at one line of angle for cover and use one man to approach by reconnaissance, silent hunting or bait- retreat techniques. Move inside the complex in clockwise manner close to the walls to begin with breaching the submarine docks. The mission needs quick reaction to surprises with the team members close together.

SS Heat- Mouse in the house

A tough mission with lower chance of getting out with all team members alive.
Start by using the two LRDG jeeps and position them with their mounted heavy machine guns covering a good arch of the entrances to town. Then get the sniper to sneak among the outside buildings and snipe the guards over town walls. Other friends will take care of enemies coming out to investigate.
After clearing the outside area and entrances, carefully engage the two jeeps through the western entry and position them on the cross roads to cover two main streets. Position the heavy gunner for cover in prone position. Then use one man for the bait- retreat technique at these covered streets with clearing of side alleys.
Then Get all the team into one jeep and move deep in the town with cover provided from the 2 backseat men till reaching the prison then get all the team out and circle around the prison in tight formation. Infiltrate the prison and gather at the central courtyard.


Prepare for the hardest phase when the enemy reinforcement comes and dozens of infantry attack the prison from all directions.
First mine the prison entries at the main and side doors. Get the sniper and heavy gunner outside to bring the jeep into a vantage point at a narrow alley overlooking the crossroads and street on front of main entrance with the sniper manning the jeep machine gun and the heavy gunner lying prone on ground in the same axis.
Use the gunner and rifleman inside to infiltrate the cells at basement and free the prisoner pilots then hold position for defense against attacking enemies. The two other men should shred the enemies approaching the main door. Any enemy who pass the doors should step over the mines.
After all clear, arm the pilots with MP40s and protective helmets and start the journey out.
Move slowly close together and watch out for snipers at windows and Grenade balconies suspected to be occupied. Bring the jeep for cover at the main western road and use a man or two to navigate through narrow alleys and maneuver around a parked tank ahead until hitting it.
Go to the eastern road and use two men to climb over the rooftops to snipe and grenade enemies.
Then get all the men into the jeeps and return to the LRDG unit.

SS Heat- Snake bite

Attack quickly with jeep and try to cease the parked tank. Drive ahead with jeep and fire few machine gun rounds towards the approaching enemy convoy then retreat back to tank. Get all men inside the tank and wait for the approaching German tiger tank to destroy it with cannons.
Use sniping and cover technique to eliminate remaining enemy including the guards manning a machine gun post over a high plateau.
Drive the jeep up the plateau, drop the sniper at the machine gun post and continue quickly to bypass the dangerous area below avoiding the deadly fires from an enemy tank. After that, quickly get the three men out of jeep and attack the enemy encountered including a truck.
With the sniper up the plateau try to hit the tank with RPG and carefully snipe surrounding enemies. The RPG man from other side can assist as well.
Continue through the canyon with the jeep stopping before each enemy camp to maneuver.
Use the high terrain for cover and use the machine gun posts.

SS Heat- Sitting duck

Attack the enemies at the machine gun post then snipe the patrols over the rock face and along sand dunes. Rocket the parked flak truck and cover against attacking enemies.
Proceed to destroy the plane wreckage and continue to siege and infiltrate the ruined town. Use the rooftops to defend against attacking enemies then manipulate and destroy their tank.



Hint:
- Don't fully depend on the return fire provided by covering team friends as sometimes they may become overwhelmed. So, don't stay put and share your fire.
- Use vehicle for fast transport to a desired far point. The car body can shield from possible long range sniper shots. You can also get out of the car and use it as a cover.
SS Husky- Chestnut

Get the team to sneak on grass in defensive mood and head to a vantage point over a rocky hill at the backside with a machine gun post. Take care avoiding detection by enemy patrols and use the stealth man to knife the enemy soldier on machine gun.
Set up the team in stand by positions covering the area below with one of them controlling the machine gun. Control the sniper and snipe an enemy patrol to open fire then immediately other men will fire in turn simultaneously eliminating all visible enemies below.
The send one gunner man below for baiting and retreat to attract enemies to the cover area.
Do a sweep with all team watching out of underground bunkers and panzer tanks. Use the trenches for cover while approaching to destroy tanks.

SS Husky- Ponte grande

This is a tough mission with unpredictable circumstances that usually call for alternative plans. The changing of plans is decided in the field depending on the man power, health status, availability of heavy artillery and the level of enemy presence.
Contact the SAS soldier and quickly fight your way to disarm the bridge. The tactical map can be used to send the sniper to an isolated high building. The other 3 men continue and join 2 SAS members with them on the way.
Use the tactical map to send the team down to bridge pillars while controlling the sniper for long range snipping cover.
Then start disarming the bridge pillar by pillar watching out for hidden enemies. Then breach the other bank attacking and eliminating enemies.
An approaching enemy convoy at north will appear on sight. Try to shot as many infantry as possible then hide in the ruins for protection from tanks. Use RPG or explosives to hit the tanks.
The sniper on other side can use the cannons on the tanks as well.
A second convoy at west will approach and the team can wait for them or retreat for rearming and first aid then attack again.

SS Hound Smith- Double action

Gather the at the planned location with the resistance fighter then run along the river in defensive mode till reaching near the outer fence away from the base. Stop them at river bank and control the stealth man to sneak and silently kill enemy patrols. Cut the outer fence, bring the team and advance towards the base assaulting some enemies at a campfire on the way.
As the team gets near the back side of the base, use the stealth man first to eliminate enemy patrols and tower guards in this area. After that line the other 4 team members in covering positions and give them "fire on my lead" order then use the stealth man to cut the inner fence and sneak to the machine gun nest. Use the machine gun on any visible enemy to trigger heavy firing cover from squad friends then quickly hide behind the sand bags. During team's heavy firing on emerging enemies, lob grenades and shot stray soldiers. Then use the sniper to hunt tower guards and other far visible enemies before bringing the whole team and beginning attack into the bunker and barracks.

Give the "fire on my lead order" and control the stealth man to sneak around the farm on the soil yard knifing enemy patrol on the way till a vantage point covering the road to north. Get another man beside him.
The sniper will sneak without detection to a small ruin near the main gate. Get another man to cover his back then begin snipping enemies to trigger fire. Other men will prevent anyone from escaping. Then gather the team and use the cover- bait technique to approach the farm then infiltrate and do a sweep inside.

Move the team together in tight formation to attack trenches and infiltrate bunkers for quick rescuing of as many SAS soldiers as possible. Control the sniper for long range shooting and the gunner for close range shooting.

What makes hitting a tank quite challenging is that it has one weak spot which is the back of it’s turret (from normal difficulty and higher). Wherever you encounter a tank, try to use cover and sneak around dealing with other enemies under cover. You can also distract a tank by tossing a grenade to its opposite side from you. Once you get behind it’s turret, carefully aim the bazooka at the back of the turret chamber for a one shot hit, and make sure that there is cover in case you missed or you’ll be dead. You can also use anti- tank mines, sticky bomb or sometimes another abandoned tank if you’re lucky. I know this is the most difficult encounter in the game.

Hey Hadysun, on the nomads "guest" mission there are tanks and whenever i bring an Bazooka and find a panzerfaust and shoot it, it doesn't die. How do i get around this? (Also i play single player not multiplayer so :P )

Coordinated team work is the key for success no matter the difficulty:treagle:
