Step 1

First tings first, start up spelunky and get to the menu. You can either use the gamepad, the keyboard or the mouse to do this.

Step 2

There is much to do in the main menu, so don't get lost. find yor way down to "Help & Options" and proceed.

Step 3

There is a lot of options to choose from here, but "Settings" is what you are looking for.

Step 4

Choose your damsel here (the pug ofc). When you have chosen your option you can go back to playing spelunky, only this time its much better.

I will refrain from a sarcastic comment for the sake of those people who really don't know how to look past the first menu screen.
