Very Scary Hotel [ADVENTURE MAP]

A complete remake of this map is in the works


An adventure map taking place in an old hotel, haunted by the great and powerful Merasmus. On halloween night, your team has been recruited to track him down and end him once and for all. Be careful, though... he's a tricky one. You'd best be on the lookout for traps and hazards.

If you're ever stuck, make sure you've checked everywhere. Other parts of the map will open as you progress.

After loading the map, the following commands must be executed by the server host/admin:

How to (Properly) Install the Map
1) Download the .nav file from here[www.dropbox.com].
2) After subscribing to the map and allowing it to fully download through Steam, locate the veryscaryhotel_a3_1.bsp file in the following folder:
3) Now, move veryscaryhotel_a3_1.bsp as well as the veryscaryhotel_a3_1.nav file you downloaded from the link above to the following folder:
4) To load the map in the game, simply type "map veryscaryhotel_a3_1" in console without the quotes. Once the map has loaded, enter the commands "tf_allow_player_use 1" and "mp_teams_unbalance_limit -1", also without the quotes. The map is now ready to play.

Recommended for 1-6 players (more than that is fine, I just don't recommend it)

If you are a server owner and would like to run this map on your server, there is no need to ask me first.
