Merrick's Bulgaria

Adds Bulgaria, led by Simeon I, Emperor of the first Bulgarian Empire who fought against the Byzantine empire as a major rival.

Cyrillic Script

• Cities that flip to you via Loyalty Pressure are converted to your Founded or Majority Religion.
  
• Receive a random civic boost after another player recruits a Great Prophet or Great Writer.
  
• +25% Great Prophet points and +50% Great Writer points gained from all sources.

Boila (Replaces Knight)

• Heavy Cavalry with a 2 range attack.
  
• +5 Combat Strength against Cavalry.
  
• Spends just 1 Movement to Pillage.

Chitalishte (Replaces University)

• +4 Culture and +2 Loyalty.
  
• 3 Great Work slots of any type.
  
• +1 Great Writer, Artist, and Musician point per turn.
  
• Creating a Great Work in the Chitalishte causes foreign cities within 7 tiles of this city to lose 20 Loyalty.

Claim to Byzantium

• Citizens of conquered cities exert an additional +1 Loyalty per turn while they follow your Founded or Majority Religion.
  
• +5 Combat Strength and +25% combat experience for all Light Cavalry, Heavy Cavalry, and Siege units within 6 tiles of any Capital or City-State.
  
• Unlocks War of Territorial Expansion with Divine Right.

Imperial Demands

• Likes Civilizations with many districts and high Culture. Dislikes Civilizations with large cities who neighbour him. Grievances against this leader decay at twice the usual rate.
