Disable Satellite Map Reveal

Beskrivning
Disables the "reveal the entire map" effect from launching the earth satellite.

NOTE: This mod is intended as a fix for players who are experiencing crashes once the entire map is revealed when using large, custom modded map sizes.

Rusty, though I can’t recall if it’s vanilla, it’s maybe the « Customization VI » mod, there is a setting to disable shared visibility.

Damn, reading all those crash stories, I was safe playing the base game but since I bought the complete game I’m afraid to play big maps lol

Update: Did not realize alliances grant visibility at rank 2. One of my allies apparently has enough visibility to reveal the entire world, so don't make alliances. There's no way to get out of it so my save is borked.

Having a weird issue with this installed. It works when initially launching the satellite, but for no apparent reason the entire map is revealed a few turns later anyways. Does anyone know why this is or what other things can cause the map to reveal?

y'know even though "Blackstorm"'s question was 4 years ago, i still dont understand what the hell was the point of it, this disable satellite reveals not scanning the map from the start...

you know the little map in corner, does it show the whole map, or does it require the player to manually scout it. just wondering.

It doesn't reveal anything. I don't understand your question.
