Witch Doctor is a very good support. His bouncing stung can be very good in lane if the enemy hero'e are caught in a bad spot. Combined with maladict and your ult you can ensure someone will die on your behalf.

Be sure to be careful how close to a team fight you get. You want to be able to damage everyone with your ult but you also want it to last its full duration.
