Right-click on the game in your Steam library, Manage -> Browse local files..., after that go to \SE1\Media\ and open the StartupVids.txt file. Delete all of its contents. Make a backup copy if you wish.

Right-click on the game in your Steam library, Properties -> General -> Launch Options, type +r_lod 0.

Download Nvidia Profile Inspector[github.com] and run it. Find the SiN: Episodes profile and then set the following:

Antialiasing compatibility: 0x000010C1 (just copy and paste it if it's not in the list)
Antialiasing - Mode: Override any application setting
Antialiasing - Setting: 4x [4x Multisampling] OR 8xQ [8x Multisampling]
Antialiasing - Transparency Supersampling: 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling OR 8x Sparse Grid Supersampling

Make sure to click Apply changes before closing the app.
