Connect to a US server.
Play the game.

I tried a dozen different things and this was the only thing that actually worked for me.

Why do you need all these guides when you can just unplug the ethernet until you're in the menu without crash, and then plug it back in and play the game just fine?

I had a US friend and the game loaded fine for him, so it seemed like something that'd probably work.
