Where to start? (British Guide)
You start off with the region Gibraltar.

What to do:

- Attack no one but France (You're choice).
- Make sure you help Spain get a foothold (Liberate more spanish countries).
- By Liberating you will get more revolutionist troops (Make sure your taxes are upkeeped!).
- You will want atleast 3 armys to spread throughout the map (Doesnt have to be a full army).
- Spread your armies evenly throughout the map and not want only half conquered.
- Attack France's capitol with Wellington! (Other general will not work if you autobattle).
- Wellington will not respawn to Gibraltar! (Use him wisely).
- Do not spend so much on your navy! (France barely uses it's navy).
- Make sure you have plenty of spies! (They will help with assassinating and make attacking easier).
- Make sure your you leave garrisons of men at your previous conquered regions. (This will make sure if a army goes past your front lines that you will have a easy backup plan).
- Always heal your men after a battle! (France's capitol will have elite units waiting).

Where to start? (French Guide)
As France your capitol starts off as Toulouse.

What to do:

- Lower taxes! (Way too many regions to hold when they are all wanting to uprise.
- Take out the British! (I recommend sending the Navy. You will have to build it up though)
- Take out Portugal last! (Portugal is the farthest and less likely to take you over)
- Split up for Spain! (Spain has 2 starting regions that are on either side of the map. Split your armies and take them both equally)
- Trade! (Use as many trading slots as you can)
- Upgrade your armies! (You start off with 4 small armies. You need to have atleast 2 full so I recommend to combine them)
- France's Campaign has easy tasks but, is harder to maintain them.

Where to start? (Spain's Guide)
You start off with Spain's capitol and one other region.

What to do:

- Regroup armies! (Your armies are scattered across the map. I suggest regrouping 2 in the capitol and 2 in the other starting region)
- Lock in regions! (Continue to conquer in a path towards your capitol. The close you are the better.)
- Go by land! (Going by land does take longer but it is fast in the long run. This way you do not have to guard France's capitol intill you conquer your way there.)
- Leave room for the Brits! (The British will be a huge help in the campaign so leave them room for a foothold.)
- Guard your starting regions! (Your capitol is touching 3 French regions.)
- This campaign is probably the most modest.

NIce guide!! I finished the Peninsular Campaign both with the British and the Spanish. It was a lot of fun, though playing with the latter was a bit more complicated! My advice is not to attack immediately Madrid but to first defeat the French Armies in the surrounding regions! Madrid is hugely guarded, so I decided to sack the city and leave it to the enemy and to update the buildings of more controlled areas!!

The Peninsular campaign can be difficult if you try to micromanage. Therefore, goal orientated strategies such as these, are generally applicable for their obvious intended purpose. Good job! Hello Von Kitty
