This is my first guide, I hope you think it's helpful :S. i'm not sure if there are any other guides on this. (probz there are). but i'm doing mine!

If you don't know how annoying a shield-hugger can be, I don't know why your here... but they are ANNOYING because with most shields, discluding the Buckler take a while to stop blocking. DON'T HIT THEM it just wastes both of your stamina. try taunting, or making yourself look like an easy kill. that will lure them out and when you then parry that attack, they'll be pretty pee'd off.

Then when the time comes...

By all means if you want to midlessy bash away you stamina, do it.

NO don't EVER do that, use Shove (Default F) to kick/punch the shield away this will also stun the enemy for a short duration, they CANNOT attack when this is done.

use these techniques to attack once the block is away...

ANYWAY when they're guard is down stab (Default ScrollUp) then, to leave them without their precious shield, then use primary attack (Default Left Click) and swing a couple of cheeky shots in.

WARNING: be careful, if the player is skilled, they can strike you at this moment.

if you keep doing that, and they are stilll alive, but desperatley swinging strikes at you parry/block a single one, and get a/a couple of strikes in and they'll die pretty quick!

You might want to add that "attack, feint, kick" is the most useful combination to get shield users. Attack so they get their shield up and then just feint to a powerful kick (hold F and not just press it briefly). It's important to notice that just kicking them wont help but that they have to hold up the shield.
