Arma 3 | Ready Check [Simple Mod | Client Side]

Arma 3 | Ready Check is a mod that allows group leaders to do a ready check for either their group or side. Allowing them to get a number of people ready without having to interrupt!



This mod supports custom key binds!
(CUSTOM KEY - 11) - START A READY CHECK (F5 DEFAULT)
(CUSTOM KEY - 12) - RESPOND "READY" TO A CHECK (F6 DEFAULT)
(CUSTOM KEY - 13) - RESPOND "BUSY" TO A CHECK (F7 DEFAULT)

This mod allows group leaders to start a ready check for either their side or group and can give them a precise number and percentage of the number of troops ready in their selected group. This mod is mainly aimed at Milsim users.

This mod is a client-side mod and is only required on the people who wish to start a ready check. Normal users do not need to download this mod to respond to the ready check!

This mod does have localization built in but currently is only available in English if you would like to help translate feel free to contact me.

Server owners can find a key in the keys folder in the mod installation location!

Currently, it has an option between your group & side.
With regards to spam, the mod was originally made to be used by a leader, but with anything like this it can be spammed and will probably have some issues if it is.

What is the scope of the check? Same group? Same side? Also how spamable is it? Could the person with the mod be a dick and spam it 24/7? Either way, great mod!

Yes, you are correct.
The mod is only required on the client who would like the start the ready check. It will send all the necessary code to the users in the check. The UI will show up on users who don't have the mod installed.

To make sure I am understanding it right, to start a check you need the mod. To respond to the check, you do NOT need the mod. Does the UI pop up for the person who needs to respond to the check?

@Asaayu I'm trying to edit in an option to have the timer not stop if player's ready = 100, and just adding some more time options. Sorry I really should have explained better.

That's quite a stretch from the original direction of the mod. I currently don't plan on doing anything like that anytime soon.

I don't usually play Arma 3 with ACE so I'll have to look into what is needed for ace compatibility.
