In the DCL Draft Selection Event, aspiring Pilots will have to prove their skills to the DCL20 Team Owners and Team Managers.

As in the NBA and NFL, at the end of the Event there will be a number of picking rounds, where each Team will select one or more Pilot to join their Roster for the DCL209 Season. The slowest Team of DCL19 will have the first pick.

There will be at least one complete picking round, so one Pilot per Team

• How you present yourself and how you answer to the Team Managers questions.
  
• How good you are as a Team Player
  
• Your knowledge about technical drone parts.

• Mock-interviews in English.
  
• Flying a real drone you’ve not used to.

Qualification for the DCL Draft Selection takes place within DCL - The Game. Access to it can be gained from the Home screen or from Fly > Events > Active events. The online qualification starts from 12:00UTC February 18 2020 until 12:00UTC March 30 2020.

If you manage to qualify in the top 200 you will be invited to try out at the DCL Draft Selection Event. This will take place on May 2-3 2020 at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere, Whitby St, Shoreditch, London E1 6JT UK. If selected the DCL team will provide you with more information upon successful qualification.

You need to bring your own RC Controller, compatible with DCL - The Game.

Yes, you need to organize your own travel and accommodation.
Lunch and drinks will be provided by DCL.

If you are selected by a Team, the minimum offer of the team will be the cost of all travel and accommodation for the DCL20 season that you will be part of. Additionally, you will get a share of the prize money pool that the Team might win. If you are not happy with the deal, you can be traded to another DCL Team until May 31 2020. DCL teams are not allowed to recruit other pilots until the next DCL Draft Selection in 2021.

The minimum prize money is 50'000 €. Additionally, 0.50 € of every sold DCL - The Game will be added to the prize money pool.
