Unable to afford cards? Unsure about your deck before buying? With this neat little trick, you can create any deck using any cards, even those you don't own, and use them against bots, free of charge.

If for any reason you have decided not to spend money on buying cards, you now have access to the entire card library without paying a single extra cent, granted that you are willing to only play against bots. Without further ado, let's get right into it.
Step by step
1. Go to COLLECTION.
2. BUILD DECKS tab.
3. Click and enable UNOWNED.

4. Make the deck you always wanted to try, save it.

5. Go to SOLO PLAY and pick your deck in BOT MATCH.

6. Holy @#&% it actually works!!
F.A.Q
  • Q: Any card?
  • A: As long the deck is valid (not from draft), yes, any.
  • Q: Sometimes I can no longer select my unowned deck?
  • A: Make sure the UNOWNED box stays checked in COLLECTION.
  • Q: Can the bots use unowned decks?
  • A: Yes.
  • Q: Can I use these decks versus players?
  • A: Against your friend, yes, but they have to legally own the deck. While challenging them in SOCIAL PLAY, they must check the 'Share deck' option so you may access their decks. -Grimes
  • Q: This no longer works after the new patch.
  • A: I'll double check when that happens.

Q: Can I use these decks versus players?

I know of one way to play against people using a deck containing un-owned cards:
1. The person you want to play has to be in your friends list, and has to own the cards you want to use
2. Follow the above instructions to save your deck
3. In the SOCIAL PLAY section, use the CHALLENGE A FRIEND mode
4. In the game settings screen, check the 'Share deck' option
5. Your friend can select your deck and save it into their own collection
6. Do step 3 and 4 again to set up a game
7. This time your friend checks 'Share deck'
8. You should now see it at the top of the list after you click 'Choose deck'
