"OPERATION SLING-STONE COMMUNITY EVENT: ON NOW! July 26 – July 29 @ 12 PM EDT

Calling all Tenno! Your help is needed: the Grineer Empire is planning a major assault on the Corpus and we need to keep the balance. Band together and destroy all of the reactors on the Fomorian ships. You will need to kill the Infested to obtain the correct substances to corrupt these reactors. The Corpus have agreed to reward the Tenno for their efforts with new 'Ammo Conversion' Mod technology. If we fail, any region with surviving Fomorians will have resource drops cut in half for several weeks.
Rewards include:
- 'AMMO CONVERSION' MODS (up to 5 mods available)
- FOMORIAN TROPHIES for the top clan in each bracket"

A new event is upon is Tenno! Operation Sling-Stone is all about preventing the Grineer from obliterating the Corpus. A strange turn of events for us to now be assisting those that we have fought against in the past. So to do this event, you'll need these things...

Stable Corruptors
Beta Corruptors
Alpha Corruptors

These are obtained from killing Infested. These are not mission rewards, you need to actually kill and pick up these items from the infested. We had a lot of luck running Xini to get a plethora of corruptors. Once you have corruptors, you'll need to go into your inventory and equip one. You can only bring one at a time, but all three can be used at the same time within a mission, this is why it is best to get into a group and have each person bring a different corruptor. Only the stable will damage the ship on its own, the others must be combined.

Once you are ready, look for a Fomorian ship on the galaxy map and enter into it. After following the path you'll come to a large room with a series of terminals. Place your corruptor into the corresponding terminal and be prepared to defend! If you have teammates with different corruptors, they can also place theirs here. Based on which ones you use, you'll get up to 10 points at the end of the mission. Earn enough points and you will receive rewards, the rewards are...

"Follow the community progress bar in-game throughout the weekend. After the event, the Corpus will (grudgingly) reward the Tenno with new 'Ammo Conversion' Mod technology. Players will gain points for contributing to destroying ships. At the end of the event, the Corpus will reward players based on points received:

250 points: All 5 mods
150 points: 4 mods
100 points : 3 mods
All contributing players receive 2 mods"

Furthermore, the top clan in each clan tier will receive a statue for their Dojo.
