I will add a Escort Mission to deliver the merchants and the wanderers traveling in various places to the town.


NPC that can provide a Escort Mission
Traders Guild Caravan
Hiver Merchant caravan
Slaver caravan
Merchant Nomads
Mercenary wanderers
Drifter solo
Drifter solo (skeleton)
Bounty hunter
Wandering Assassin
Black dog (New 2019/3/5)
※ You must be out of town to undertake the guard duty.


How to Escort Mission
1, Talk to the character traveling in various places and take over the guard duties.
2, We will guard until the object arrives in town.
3, When the escort object arrives in the town, the fee will be paid.
Relationship with the faction to which the escort subject belongs will improve just a little.

* The mission success judgment is done when the escort object enters the town.
The fee will not be paid if you are away from the object at the time of judgment.
* The duty period is one week. Even if it expires it can be redeemed on the spot if outside the town.
* If you want to cancel your mission, please move away from subject.
* The mission success judgment is done also outside the play screen.

How to Bodyguard Mission

this can be kinda buggy... certain caravans will juggle between two towns going back and forth with no rest between, so you can just follow them, get paid, follow them again, get paid. aside from this, this is a QOL mod, it helps get your squad out to explore and gain skill without risking the full alone kenshi experience

Yep, paladins calling me dark beasts is now a synonym for "hey, do you want to escort us, pretty please?"
Several NPC squad dialogues for multiple factions are affected; do not recommend using this mod, will break base game features now

You can alter the mod itself to change or remove relation gains.
It's simple enough and can be done in just a couple minutes.

Step by step:
1) Locate your Kenshi folder (mine is E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Kenshi)
2) Run the FCS ( forgotten construction set.exe ), hit Done when it asks for the datasets to load

3) Locate the mod folder (mine is E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\233860\1640604537)
4) Make a backup of the files (you can always unsubscribe and resubscribe to reset it, but it's good practice to make backups of anything you modify)
5) Drag and drop the Escort Mission.mod file into the FCS

6) Double-click the *Escort mission success line
7) Here's the slightly tedious part, check every Thank you. line (just use the down arrow to speed it up), remove every DA_AFFECT_RELATIONS in the Effects area, and add a new one (or none at all) with the value you want
8) Save (ctrl+S or save icon top left)

holy nation patrol leader yell at my travelling squad "dark beast....bla bla bla", chasing after me. guess someone in the squad puked his sightseeing, expecting a fight.
when talking, it become this escort mission option. seems like this may have overriding a vanilla script.

too bad this didn't tell where the npc is/are heading.

i quick save b4 i try pick up the mission in the wild, in case the npc heading to a direction not where i wanted to go, then reload.
