monotheism

Description
ModID: 1638894058

Monotheism is defined as the belief in the existence of only one god that created the world, is all-powerful and intervenes in the world

Purpose:
The intention behind this mod is to provide exclusivity of religious items. Exclusivity will benefit the value of items for trade and commerce.

This mod is the first of a series of mods, being designed to work in unison to offer a greater number of religiously exclusive items and buildings.

Modifications:
-removes religious choice from the character creation screen
- limit religious choice to a singular religion, you can not learn more than one
- changes the way players learn their single chosen religion
- each religious teacher gives an item to a player, once item is consumed that religion is learned. This can not be change without recreating the character.

This mod is intended to be used with and has been tested with Pippi & Age of Calamitous.

Sorry to bother you, but with the inclusion of a new religion (Zath), there is a crack in this.
The Zath religion, while I didn't see it in the character creation, is available in the Religion section of the Feats tab for 50 points (as if it was a secondary one).

Hello neighbor! I'm currently working on overhauling the religion system myself and I've largely completed my changes successfully, however I've found one bug that I can't seem to resolve that you may be able to shed some light on.

I'm doing something similar in that I want the player to have to earn their religion. I've set all but Crom as inactive in ReligionSelection data table (to effectively set religion to nothing). It works when creating a character, clicking on the Religion tab brings up Crom as only selectable element and sets it as such on finalizing character.

The problem is when I don't click on the religion tab and just skip that part of the character creation process, it always defaults to Mitra...seems I'm missing something here. I was wondering if you'd be able to give me some advice to resolve this issue. Thanks!

@Trusty Patches How exactly would more (or any) pictures be relevant to this mod?

"This is a picture of a character that has only learned one religion"

More pictures would be appreciated, and will help with folks' decisions on whether or not to use this mod.
