You still managed to do it before I did it, I believe I ended up around 1700 but decided to reply the same save a lot of times to see if I got lucky and the AI ended up unifying Japan, which only added more to the already insane task at hand. So the end date for me was around 1750 iirc.

So yeah Excellent work there DDRjake, but I guess going horde mode made things easier.

The real issue back then was that you couldn't attack Japan before Japanese daimyos finished their stuff on Japan. So most of my game was waiting... and killing rebels... I was almost going crazy back then. I am wondering how you remained sane - and ended up working for Paradox. But maybe that has something to do with it, haha.

I am happy that by the end of the day you didn't ignore the peasant rabble, at least.
