Hai Everyone, in this section, i will explain how to fix error Umbrella, some players have this problem in them game. so i will give you tutorial to fix it.

Error for this game from that config file, so we must fix file config in there

CLOSE YOUR GAME ALICE MADNESS RETURNS

First, you must download this file config in this url

change dot in to ( . ) without ()


Second: Click Start



third: open the folder where the results are being installed game alice madness returns, and open config folder.


Default Place: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config

if you have different place, you just find folder steamapps in you disk

4: Open Umbrella Fix Config.rar and put in file defaultinput.ini into config folder



5 Move and Replace that file



6 Open Your Game



Now How to open your Umbrella, when you fight with that creature, you should press Capslock to lock on, when that creature throw his bom, click E and umbrella will be Open Succesfully
in Gamepad XBOX 360
To Lock On, click A and open your Umbrella

note: you can not open your Umbrella if you not lock on that enemy, press capslock first to lock on enemy and then you can open your umbrella with press E

So I try another way to fixed it,if you have same problem like me,
you can try this :

1- Find "DefaultInput.ini" in your "Config" folder. It should located at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config

2- Open DefaultInput.ini with notepad ,find this line under [Engine.PlayerInput]:
+Bindings=(Name="XXXXX",Command="TriggerBlock true | OnRelease TriggerBlock false")

You can choose any key you like to replace XXXXX,
I'm using LeftShift, so it should looks like:
+Bindings=(Name="LeftShift",Command="TriggerBlock true | OnRelease TriggerBlock false")

3- Save the changes,launch your game. Go to Configuration > Controls ,
and check the key settings see if its as same as you just changed in DefaultInput.ini.
If it's not,change them to same.

To use umbrella to block attacks, you have to hold on your Focus key
and push the key you set to use umbrella. Have fun !
