Description
I created Sovereign - a map that I wanted to be played without the focus of highways from other cities, but you are the artist!

This map has one highway connection - all the traffic you see is created by you! I wanted this map to reflect the game play style that focuses on shipping out goods and people via the sea and rail.

I've created this map to have two 'sides' which is geographically hard to reach one another. 2 lanes each way connect the 2 halves, as well as a train line. Mass Transit owners should dust off their ferry depots on this one.

There is one train line connecting Sovereign to the outside world, and it is meant to be a freight line (you can easily change it or use it as a light rail for passengers). I have merged an inner-city light rail with the freight line along the bridge to help shuttle people across the bay, it should help to prevent bottle necks. (you will know what I mean when you see it)

The intersections have all been crafted to give cims their own lanes for merging on and off the highway - feel free to tidy things up with TM:PE

81 Tile mod definitely not needed, the only thing outside the 25 tile area is a mountain village area.

I am using Ecania's theme as mentioned in required items and the LUT I went with is Relight Cold

The tree count is close to 240K, if you are unable to place more later on, you will need to delete some or get the Unlimited Trees Mod

Lastly, many many many days have been put into this, please feel free to click the like and favorite button. It means a great deal to me.

Ship: 3/4
Air: 2/4
Rail (Heavy) 1/4
Highway 1/4

@Pamparampampamparam You need to use RON Mod to replace the old networks

Does this need Network Extension? Its still out of date.

Also, I'm guessing the first picture is showing the starting area? How many tiles away is the oil-rich peninsula of the first middle island?

Is this map based on us or scandinavia or alps or what??

I don't see the point in the "Rural Train Track". It is honestly an unnecessary mod, especially when using the much more useful Network Skins mod, which allows to remove the power lines from vanilla tracks in-game.

Otherwise nice map, though. I just don't have 3 hours to waste trying to replace them myself.

Unfortunately, yes. There are 2 lane highways and national roads. You could turn on NeXt2, open up the map, upgrade all the roads to the mass transit ones (if you have it) and then you wouldnt need NEXT2 anymore

NE2 really required? That mod conflicts with a lot of other mods :/ Was really looking forward to trying this beautiful map.

Hi - this map has been reviewed by BonBonB in What Map. And this is truly a BEAUTIFUL Map! The snowy mountains are just fantastic to look at, but so is the whole map. The roads and the rails are done to the highest standard, so you can just sub to this map and build a great city immediately. I highly recommend this map, and give it 5 stars.

And YOU the viewers can vote too for this map. And all other maps that are reviewed. Enjoy the video If you like this map: don't forget to like the video, subscribe to the BonBonB channel , and VOTE :steamhappy:
