If you hit 75 OVR it will be allowed to make your own.

The base is the most important thing you need, if it doesn't have a good green light percentage you should change it because you will hit less greens. For the firs few tries try the popular ones.Yes the green light percentage depends on your base trust me. Player bases has LESS green light percentages. Always track what did 2K nerfed if your Base has been nerfed like Set 13 you should change it immediately.

Your release speed is the most important because you NEED to learn how to time it if you can't learn it you need to figure out which release gives a lot of speed to that OR lower your release speed.

Practice it in your MyCourt for a long time, if you still can't learn it you should change your release(s) or release speed.

Because your releases are too fast and you can't time it OR your release is not too good for a precise shooting form. There are HOT and COLD zones in the park and in the NBA if youre in a hot zone you have a higher chance to make that shot but if youre in a cold zone there is a smaller chance to make your shot. Your Archetype can be a problem too and your ratings on shooting example: Mid OPEN 60 etc. . Test which hand you're better with create a RIGHT handed character let's see how many buckets can you get then do it with the same player and make him LEFT handed example in MyCareer make a stretch four (primary and secondary 3 PT) and make the height and the weight and the wingspan the SAME. Or create the same player and use him in PLAY NOW and with right hand and left hand. Look out for the wingspan lenght because it can make your shooting worse.Your Badges can help you to hit the shot too!!

If you found a good jumper DON'T CHANGE it because you're not getting so many greens stay with it because you can make the jumper worse and worse and worse, until YOU hit the shots and get the points DON'T CHANGE IT!! Don't try again and again other jumpers because you can't hit so many greens just stay with it, and use the one is good for YOU you're using that not some other strangers!!

It takes a lot of time just stay with that jumper and don't give up, if you're having a bad day just don't play this game and if you're raging stop playing for a while like 1hr or a half hour and then try it again, be calm.

If you're lagging you have problems with your internet connection or with your FPS (Frames Per Second) If you're having issues with your internet connection then you should TURN OFF those devices that are not used. If youre having issues with your FPS try the lowest settings possible. You can have lags because you TURNED OFF Vertical Sync DO NOT TURN IT OFF.
