What if my router has only Port Triggering? It says it needs a port from my end, (not an address) as well as a target port.

yeah my friend used to have that as well but usually restarting the server or they restarting the game it fixes it, this is from the game or from steam don't know, thank you for sharing your knowledge could be useful to many :cozybethesda:

It still works! just make sure to use your IPv4 so it's like this: Connect xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:27015 and send it to your friend when connecting.

Now there are a few issues, like my friend's game would crash often with the error message Steam Validation Rejected, there seems to be an easy fix here:

Other than that from what I understand, there is no permanent fix to my knowledge around this.
