Yeah, I use this when modders mess up the lobby making it impossible to play. Seems that since the lockdown, the lobbies have been quite toxic with modders. This trick works well. Able to play in peace, sometimes minutes, sometimes hours.

What this does is disconnect you from the server momentarily, which causes ALL the other players on the list to "leave the game", including your friends and teammates. It's the only way to make a "private" public session. Otherwise you're stuck making private sessions and can't do your business missions, or joining busy public sessions and getting railed as soon as you log in. Log in to any session, do the trick, see everyone leave, invite your friends, and get started on your business stuff before other random people have the chance to jump in. Like another poster said, sometimes you can be alone for 10 minutes and need to do the trick again, sometimes you're alone for hours to farm your missions in peace. I think it's just harder to keep a session "private" when it's during the busier hours regardless. Btw, pinning the "Resource Monitor" program to your taskbar is super handy for those quick drops.

@Aric, yes theyll drop then they just join you again. DO take note though this doesnt last forever, sometimes 10 mins sometimes 6 hours
