Welcome to my guide detailing the locations of each of the Fragments in The Eternal Castle [REMASTERED]. This guide contains potential spoilers, so if you don't want the game's plot or ending spoiled, finish the game first and come back!

Keep in mind that the game changes slightly on each playthrough, so the order of the Fragment locations may differ. The immediate surroundings of each Fragment are always the same, though, so keep an eye out for the spots in each screenshot!

There are two Fragments located in the intro level.

The first Fragment you'll come across is hidden in the very beginning of the game, right after you break free of your parachute after ejecting from your spacecraft.

As soon as you land, head left past the tree and smal hill.
Also in this area is a small flower which, if picked up, can be used to tame the "Kranker" monster in the Unholy Church section to get the Friends achievement.

The next Fragment is impossible to miss, located next to the computer you come across just after picking up the pistol.

The first Fragment you come across in the Ancient Ruins Section is located in the area beneath the fighting pit. It's next to a man named Sam who is being tortured because he does not believe in "God".

Another Fragment in this area is located in an upstairs room in the Village, among some people who will try to kill you as soon as you enter.

A hidden Fragment is located in a hard-to-reach area in the Village. It's located in some electrical wiring near a friendly Goober named Trekkie who is trying to stay hidden from the rest of society.

To get to this area you'll need to execute two running jumps in the previous screen.

Another Fragment is found in the area above the Dragon symbol. You can reach this area by heading up a flight of stairs.

Another Fragment in this area is located in a bedroom in the Village, next to a man who is worshipping the Fragment. He has some important information about the nature of the Fragments and why you need to find them all.

After jumping off the cliff to enter the Citadel level, the next Fragment is right next to the first checkpoint you come across.

Another Fragment is located next to another checkpoint. Make sure you don't miss the jump, as this checkpoint is impossible to reach once you jump down.

Another Fragment is in a shrine.

Another Fragment in this area is located next to a small campfire, guarded by two men who will try to kill you.

Occasionally (though for some reason, very rarely) there will be a Fragment inside a viny archway:

Another Fragment is located in a hidden area, reached by crouching and sneaking under an area where two enemies are sitting at a table. When you get to the bottom you will find an area with a dining table (and a peice of your equipment: your boots). Go to the far right and kill the guy standing there for your Fragment.

Another Fragment is on the table next to the Tea Master. He is found near a checkpoint just before (or rather, above) the section where you are ambushed by villagers climbing up some pillars.

There is another Fragment which is visible from the same area, but is reached by backtracking and crawling underneath the area where the Tea Master is sitting.

Another Fragment is located in the Temple, on some spikes in the bottom left corner near where you get the backpack.

Another Fragment is located in a hidden area, reached by climbing down a ladder and past a blade trap and set of spikes. Be cautious here, the first set of spikes will take you by surprise if you're not careful.

Another Fragment is reached by carefully dropping down and/or walking through some spike traps, down and to the left of one of ther checkpoints (look for a ladder to the right of the checkpoint after jumping to it).

The first Fragment you will likely come across in the Forgotten City is found next to the sticky bomb.

There is another Fragment located in the house with the regretful ally who offers you his shotgun.

Another Fragment is located above some guards in an outpost. You'll need to climb up above them instead of leaping across the chasm to their position. Be careful, as the floor next to the Fragment will fade away when you walk on it.

There is an easy to miss Fragment located underground next to a prone man who warns you to beware the BINARY SCOURGE. He is hidden underground beneath a section of the floor that disappears when you walk over it.

Another Fragment is located next to a guard patrolling on a rooftop.

There are two Fragments in Fort Casetta, one in the house with the men sitting at a table.

And another next to the man who gives you a hint about how many weapons you can carry.

Just after you cross the battlefield area, there is a Fragment next to the enemies on the ground level (just below where you find the bandana).You can reach this area by crawling through a hidden tunnel to the right of the hole you fall in that's directly in front of the enemies.

In the sewer area, there is a hidden Fragment that is above the location of the lever you need to pull to exit the area. You can access this area by climbing a ladder and jumping across a small gap in the rooms just before the lever.

In the building level, immediately after the fight with all the hammer-wielding enemies, there is a Fragment located among some trash bags near a fence.

The Unholy Church area has the fewest Fragments of all the areas, with only a single Fragment located in the bedroom next to one of the checkpoints just before you run into the Kranker.

The last two Fragments are found in the final areas of the game.

The first Fragment is found by walking to the left of your crashed ship until you reach a checkpoint.
It's important that you do NOT make it all the way to the castle in the spaceship sequence if you want to get this Fragment.

The next Fragment, and the very last to be found in the game, is found just before the final boss fight with the A.I.. Continue walking to the right, past the control panel to find your last Fragment.

You've found all the Fragments, and as a reward you get a special secret ending.
