WoW Classic: Hakkar the Soulflayer

Violent and destructive, Hakkar the Soulflayer is the Blood God of the Gurubashi trolls. Though he was banished from Azeroth in ages long past, his followers seek to summon him back to Azeroth. Among their attempts was in the Great Temple of Atal'Hakkar in the Swamp of Sorrows, but the summoning can be thwarted by the players adventuring through the temple. However, he was successfully summoned in the ancient capital of the Gurubashi empire of Zul'Gurub. The players must once again destroy the Soulflayer before he gains enough strength to destroy Azeroth.

Hakkar's Corrupted Blood ability was the source of the infamous "Corrupted Blood incident", where players could release a highly deadly and infectious disease out into the world. The effects were devastating, leading to a mass epidemic that lead to numerous deaths until it was patched out. It was used as a subject of study for real disease outbreaks, and served as an inspiration for later Blizzard events.

Recorded in World of Warcraft at 30 FPS and trimmed to keep filesize reasonably low.
