Greelune's personal weapon builds (All 14) ((OUTDATED))

This here's my guide to my builds in Monster Hunter: World, keep in mind that all of the skills you'll see below are chosen because of my playstyle but the builds still scope towards getting maximum efficiency for your hunts, all mantles are up to you. Feel free to leave your opinion or tell me if I missed something to enchance something out of my ideas. Have fun!

P.S: When reading the defensive stats it goes in order -> Defense: raw, fire, water, thunder, ice, dragon.

The Switchaxe - Swagaxe

This build is all about dragon damage and dragonsealing the monster, incredibly useful agaisnt Nergigante, Kushala, Teostra, Lunastra, pretty much all Elder Dragons.

Total damage: 777 /// Defense: 433, 2, 5, -9, 7, -5
Sharpness: White
Affinity: 5%
Element: 270 Dragon
Elderseal: High
Phial type: Power Element

No real complication here, pretty straight forward. Get amped, seal that BOI.

The Bow - Thunder Crit

Since most monsters are weak to thunder and the fact that you can easily target a monster's weak point with a range weapon, this build can deal some serious damage.

Damage: 260 /// Defense: 461, 6, -1, 5, -4, -4
Sharpness: Got 'em
Affinity: 15%
Element: 360(no scope) Thunder
Coatings: Close Range, Power

Get them heads boi.

The Chargeblade - Monster May Cry

You look cool with Dante's sword, do I really need to explain anything else?

Damage: 796 /// Defense: 437, 7, 0 , -6, 2, 2
Sharpness: Blue
Affinity: 15%
Element: 200 Thunder
Phial: Impact

Now you can hunt whatever the f*ck you want, I find myself to slide a lot while hunting, thus the slide jewel.

The Sword & Shield - The Support is here

Those who say Light bowgun is the real support weapon, you're cute. Start throwing those mega potions in your face like your team's composed of f*cking Genjis.

Damage: 290 /// Defense: 463, -4, 6, -1, -1, 18
Sharpness: Blue
Affinity: 15%
Element: 210 Sleep

And watch your teammates still die from Great Jagras.

The Greatsword - Full RAW ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

First of all, I simply don't use the Wyvern Ignition because I don't like the look of it, go ahead, roast me. The damage is still very high compared to other Greatsword though.

Damage: 1114 /// Defense: 467, 9, -7, 3, -8, 3
Sharpness: Blue
Affinity: 15%
Element: None

I mean...high raw damage, Greatsword, just...hit things?

The Gunlance - Funlance

Yeah, fire is not that good of an element, but you know what they say: Fight fire with fire, kappa.

Damage: 511 /// Defense: 427, 10, 1, -9, -6, -3
Sharpness: Blue
Affinity: 0%
Element: 510 Fire
Shelling type: Long
Shelling level: 3

WYVERN FIRE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The Longsword - Weeb Friendly

The basic build with the popular Divine Slasher, high raw, high affinity, get cutting.

Damage: 832 /// Defense: 461, 5, 3, -3, 6, -11
Sharpness: White
Affinity: 25%
Element: None

ZA WARUDO, IT'S HECKIN' OOF TIME!

The Hammer - It's a Homerun

PEGI 18+ build, lots of skulls will be crushen, viewer's discretion is advised.

Damage: 1227 /// Defense: 431, 5, 5, -4, 0, -7
Sharpness: Blue
Affinity: 5%
Element: 150 Dragon
Elderseal: High

Get ready to get staggered by your Dual Blades teammate who's going for the head.

The Dual Blades - Weeb Friendly V.2

Longsword too main stream for you? Still a virgin weeb? Say no more! I've noticed water/ice builds are fairly rare, so I decided to try my hand to make one.

Damage: 300 /// Defense: 435, 6, 1, -6, 3, -3
Sharpness: White
Affinity: 18%
Element: 270 Water

Omae- Okay no...

The Lance - Best Weapon btw

Get ready to be immortal and get the highest damage per game because the best weapon build has arrived *dabs* *screeches while screaming yeet* *dabs*

Damage: 465 /// Defense: 433, 2, -1, 0, -3, -1
Sharpness: White
Affinity: 5%
Element: Blast

The Light Bowgun - Actually OP

I mean, to be honest, the build isn't the center of attention here, let's take a moment to praise this beast of a weapon.

Damage: 270 /// Defense: 461, 7, -6, 2, -1, -4
Sharpness: *dabs on you*
Affinity: 5%
Element: Has fire ammo
Deviation: None
Mods: Recoil suppressor x2, Reload assist x1

Blitz Support broken, pls nerf, actually don't nevermind.

The Heavy Bowgun - EXPROOOOSIOOOOOOON

In all honesty, this is the most fun I've had with the HBG, just watch your mates fly with cluster, complete explosion build. This monster of a gun has Cluster 3, Sticky 3 and Spread 3.

Damage: 340 /// Defense: 480, -5, 4, 9, 2, -14
Sharpness: Fortnite is the best game ever
Affinity: 15%
Element: No elemental ammo
Deviation: High
Mods: Recoil suppresor x2, Shield x1

Try to not get reported.

The Insect Glaive - Fartonator 3000

Another dragon build, another day, but hey, at least you can fart and leave explosive clouds on your way with this one, I know, top notch humor.

Damage: 626 /// Defense: 441, -4, 1, 2, 1, -3
Sharpness: Blue
Affinity: 30%
Elderseal: High
Kinsect used: True Dragon Soul
Kinsect bonus: Element boost

Be a bird, but in South-America, a bird is also used to mention a gay person.
You f*cking bird.

The Hunting Horn - XL-Bass Booster

With this one, you can finally roleplay as your desired Suicide muscian bomber...what? Never thought about it? wtf...

Damage: 870 /// Defense: 433, 6, -2, 3, -7, 5
Sharpness: Blue
Affinity: 10%
Element: 190 Blast

If u gonna go for a Long GL the best non kulve one is zorah one its L4 u pack into build art3 focus 3 capacity up rest is up to u i like to roll with health boost 3 and wide range 3-5

Tempered Nergigantes and Vaal's are quick and easy to kill, great to farm decorations.

Quick Sheath is not that good on normal Great Sword.

The Great Sword and Long Sword builds woulb be bether with Drachen Armor and Wyvern Ignition.
