serfs do nothing but gather wood atm. can kill animals in very very begining.
instead of listing everything... be in world view, click banner of your city, mouse over anything and will tell ya the + or - of any given thing. also gives the total + up and total - down

Markets do nothing but passive silver and trade iron for reasources

And yes you can have a town of 20 sheep, 3 cows and 2 peasents. leave 5 for troops if ya need.
build all the money makers. *just not on the front line of your campain. ai tends to attack your forward progess.
