Look before you Leap [single player]

Beskrivning
Challenge response: Week 2!
My first co-op map was, apparently, supposed to be a single-player-only map. Let me know if this actually is testable... I didn't try it out while converting it. ^^
Yes, it has faith plates. And the only issue I had with it is that if you touch a folded glass panel with the franken cube, the cube disintergrates. A new one will respawn.

ok

Understood. I was simply offering suggestions.

hmm, I'm seeing where you're going with this, but my question is, is it really that important to people to keep their voting Anonymous? I know I wouldn't care if someone didn't vote for me, Heck, I'm almost counting on there being times where I'll get 0 votes and the challenger gets them all.
Whisper  [skapare] 19 jul, 2013 @ 19:27
not quite sure. Perhaps you could have either you or an officer at the comments area at one times, or close to that, anyways. Then, when someone comments on it, you could have them put it up on a hidden tally thingie, and then delete the comment.
or... you could have them up-rate the test chambers they submit, and have them make the chambers private with link-only access, so only the club members can play them. Of course, if anyone can join the club... oh, maybe have them post it under a map submission discussion thingie instead of the club's actual main page. And then have them vote using the "like" and "dislike" options. That way, they might be able to vote for more than one if they like more than one. And they can't vote on their own twice.
...
Just stupid ideas, don't mind me. Some days I feel more and more like Wheatley and less like a reasonably logical human being. I'm probably going off on a tangent here.

Anonymous? How whould I do that? I'm interested to see where you are going with this, but how?
Whisper  [skapare] 19 jul, 2013 @ 14:26
sounds like an interesting idea. I will most definately enjoy helping with voting.
how would you keep the whole "who's voting for who" bit annonymous? just a question, might not do much different.

First off, if you didn't already know, there is going to be a specific area where you guys vote on the winner each week, so I'll be able to submit my own entry because I won't be the one deciding the winner. This will make it more interactive and hopefully better. But if it doesn't work out, if people are not doing it correctly, I can stop it at any time. And yes, that means I couldn't complete camerson1313's chamber. So when voting time comes around, it would fix that because other people might be able to finish it. So it can be as fair as possible. How does that sound? If people like it, we can keep it this way. If not then next week will be it's only debut. Ok?
Whisper  [skapare] 19 jul, 2013 @ 13:15
cool, but if next week you create a map, will you win automatically? [no offense, not calling you a cheater or anything]
thanks. does this mean you couldn't complete camerson1313's chamber?

Congratulations TurretAngel, on another WIN! That's right, compared with actual competition this time, your map came out on top! This map is the WINNER of the Week 2 Creation Map Challenge with a topic of Faith Plates. Your map included a good amount of faithplates mixed in with a fairly challenging but completable puzzle. So once again TurretAngel, congratulations on your second win in a row! Your map can now be viewed on the group page in the discussions labeled Map Hall of Fame. Be sure to check in tomorrow for the new map requirements, and vote on whos map has done the better job at completing the challenge. Be careful, because next week, I'll be creating a map also! Good luck, and congratulations!

sure thing, it's no fun if I always win. I like competition. If/when he wins, I would like to try his chamber out! ^^ I love a challenge, maybe after you post the winner, I can try it out and see if I can solve it. Thanks for letting me know.:p2orange:
