In Rome 1 and Barbarian Invasions, they were all anglo-saxons faces with Roma elements such as laurier Crowns or togas
Agreed, the typical ethnic Roman would have probably looked Southern European. At least no less so than a typical Italian today.
And while we're at it, they most probably didn't speak with aristocratic British accents. I don't think anyone knows for sure what an ancient Latin accent would have sounded like, but I bet it was closer to Italian or maybe Spanish than anything British.
Unfortunately, it might since it affects the same .variantmeshdefinition files as most armor reskin mods. Not sure if there is a way around it though.
