HK MP5K prototype with a wooden foregrip from CoD: Black Ops

This German SMG is a shortened (K stands for "Kurz") variant of the already reasonably compact MP5. Shorter action led to the increase of the cyclic rate, and a vertical foregrip was added to counter the muzzle climb, especially in the absence of the shoulder stock. A PDW variant with a folding stock, a variant with low-profile iron sights, and a domestic "pistol" variant (the SP89) are produced, but the latter omits the foregrip.


Since we have versions for the normal subguns, but not the actual MP5, I joined in. I have set the selector to "F" ("fun"),[www.thefirearmblog.com] and unless you count the "extended magazine" being used so that more of its model actually goes inside the receiver, no other liberties were taken. This animation set has two randomly chosen reloading anims, keep that in mind when you're hosting.
