Beskrivning
This mod adds a different version of the Pirate Civilization which limits you to one city, Tortuga. A bit harder to play in that respect, but a few extra bonuses are included in this version as well. Being severly limited in expansion, this version offers many more UUs and UBs to help you *stay afloat* against the competion, while still maintaining that *more difficult to win* feel!

As always, if you enjoy this mod please show your support by rating it up!

Click here for the BNW *balanced* version of the Pirate Civ (formerly known as Pirate Civ Lite)

Leader: Bartholomew *Black Bart* Roberts

UA: Commandeering (All naval melee units specialize in raiding cities and capturing enemy vessels. Start with Sailing. 5x Gold from pillaging. May not build settlers nor annex cities. Pirate Captains can puppet city states.)

UU (1): Swashbuckler (The Swashbuckler is stronger than the Musketman, which it replaces. Comparable in strength to those pesky French Musketeers. Additionally, this unit's Pirate roots automatically grants it the amphibious promotion, eliminating combat penalties for attacking from water or over rivers.)

UU (2): Royal Fortune (The Royal Fortune replaces the Frigate and is skilled at trading booty for gold. When it is in a tile next to land owned by another Civilization or City-State you are at peace with, it may sell off some treasures to earn Gold and XP one time. Greater Distance equals Greater Profit.)

UU (3): Sloop (This unit is more powerful than the Privateer, which it replaces.)

UU (4): Pirate Captain (Pirate Captains have unique Pirate names both from real world and fiction. Replaces the Great Admiral. May puppet city states, bringing them under Pirate control allowing you to purchase items in the city.)

UB (1): Black Bart's Fortune (Replaces the Palace. Indicates this City is the Capital of Black Bart's Pirate Empire. Connecting other Cities to the Capital by Road will produce additional Gold. +3 Production, +3 Science, +7 Gold.)

UB (2): Pirate Tavern (Replaces the Colosseum. Grants +3 Happienss and increases Gold from land based trade routes.)

UB (3): Rum Distillery (Replaces the Windmill. Grants +2 and +5% Production and +2 Happiness. Requires an improved source of Sugar.)

Also adds the *Wonder Unit* the Flying Dutchman! Availble to everyone to build at Navigation. (The Flying Dutchman is a *wonder unit*, it is the most dreaded ship in all the seas. Only one civilization may build it. May not attack cities or units on land. Extremely powerful, living up to is infamy.)

Is there any way to download the mod directly? I used to be able to access it, but now I can't even find it in my mods folder with my other stuff.

Yeah, more or less. I honestly dont like this one as much as the Pirate Civ for BNW. But someone requested it, and here it is.
