well i do prefer the 3rd first omen movies anyday over superman but funny that it was a selling point for him to get that job.

Bit of trivia. Richard Donner got the job to direct "Superman: The Movie" based on the success of "The Omen." After having directed to very successful films in a row his Director's fee went way up. :)

for me its a classic but i guess a lot of young people wouldnt get it unless they are horror movie buffs but glad it didnt go completely unnoticed and frankly this movie should be part of the curriculum of all movie fans :)

I got it right away.

Yeah i do fully agree but i also did quite enjoy his rise in politics and the combination of UN in the 3rd movie where he was played by sam neill. Thought it was kinda an interesting twist to the tale of antichrist.

Non of the sequels can match the original. Richard Donner's excellent direction, the eerie score, the wonderful performances, and the memorable de-capatation scene make it unbeatible.

Haha yeah you are propably right that many people wont understand the referrence but i did post it in the Lucius game arts so theres a little hint. Original 3 first movies are just so much better than the rest that followed in my view among my favourite horror movies atleast the first one.

Kinda of an obscure refrence, to those who haven't seen the original film version of "The Omen." But I have. :)
