[World of Warcraft] Moonfire Spell SWEP

🔧 UPDATE 1.2.3:
◦ Added an additional HUD element
◦ Attempts to clean up the code in a neat fashion

Adds the Moonfire spell as a SWEP into Garry's Mod.


The Moonfire spell casts a marker where the player is aiming. After a short amount of time, a beam is casted at the ground where the marker was placed, dealing up to 60 damage in a quick three-round burst within a small blast radius. Direct hits always deal the most damage. This spell has a small cooldown and allows to be cast multiple times at a relatively high rate.
Miss-casting the spell penalizes the caster for half the cooldown time.

Criterium for a successful spell-cast:
🔒 The target must be on the ground, where there isn't an empty distance followed below the crosshair.
🔒 The targeted location must be within a somewhat generous range of the caster.

🎮 Left Mouse Button: Casts an instance of Moonfire where the player is looking.

⚑ - 1x Moonfire (SWEP), 1x Spellbook (World Model)

┗▶ Custom particles for the spell-effect
┗▶ Custom HUD with cooldown bar and crosshair
   ┗▶ (Crosshair will shine red if the location is unable to be casted at)
┗▶ Custom hotbar, spawn and killicons
┗▶ Custom viewmodel and worldmodel

❗ WARNING: report any bugs you find, along with all the information you can muster! This SWEP is not perfect, but I will do my best to patch any problems that may occur.
