The '@' & "$" Method
By (っ◔◡◔)っ
Scribblenauts Unlimited allows you to write almost any word you can think of - but did you know there are several words programmed into the game that you can't access? This guide shows you how.

What is the @/$ Method?
Basically in Scribblenauts Unlimited, there are several items/creations which are normally inaccessible under gameplay circumstances. These are objects such as Edgar, Julie or the specific magics which are fired from the Magic Wand and such.

However, if one were to have access to the @/$ characters then these items can be entered in and retrieved. However, since under normal gameplay circumstances these characters are unavailable in the notepad then one has to employ several 'methods' to retrieve these objects.

You CAN HEX-EDIT your game files to allow you to enter these characters but I will not go over that since it is not necessary and I'm going to assume most people are scrubs (like me) and don't want to touch the game files. You can easily figure out yourself if you Google it however.

I will go over how to access these characters ENTIRELY through the in-game object editor and notebook.

The difference between the two characters is simply the items they can access.
The '@' Method Steps.
HOW TO ACCESS '@'
1. Create a cloning machine or a teleporter and create a clone/use teleport.

2. Click on this clone, which is an exact copy of Maxwell and enter the object editor.

3. In the object editor, we want to edit this object's behaviour. To do this, in the bottom right corner there is a symbol which is a quill and paper. Click on this.

4. On the left there are several tabs. You want to be in GENERAL and find the line which says OBJECTS REACT TO IT AS IF IT'S A and click on the pencil icon to edit it.

5. Before you type anything, the box should say @MAXWELLDUMMY. THIS IS THE CRUCIAL STEP. Delete the Y, which is the last letter then RE-TYPE IT.

6. Exit the object editor, (you do not need to save, just exit) and once you are back to the game screen click on the notepad in the top right corner.

7. If you have done this correctly, @MAXWELLDUMMY should be typed in. Delete everything except the @.

8. Press enter with only the @ typed and you should have a list of all objects you can now access. Enjoy!
'@' Method Items.
Objects you Can Acess:

The "$" Method Steps.
HOW TO ACCESS "$"

1. Go to any world and complete a starite mission.

2. Attatch a Rope to the starite and drag it into your backpack.

3. Collect the starite so you exit the mission, then drag the starite from your backpack but DO NOT COLLECT IT.

4. Remove the rope and drag the now 'ropeless' starite back into your backpack, removing the rope starite.

5. Drag out TWO starites from your backpack. Only the 2nd is editable.

6. Click on the 2nd starite and enter the object editor.

7. In the bottom right corner, there is a quill and paper to edit the object's behaviour. Click on it.

8. Much like the '@' Method, enter the tab which says GENERAL and select the pencil icon next to OBJECTS REACT TO IT AS IF IT'S A.

9. You should see $starite, click on the green checkmark.

10. Exit the object editor and you should be back in the level. Click on the notebook in the top right.

11. Click on the two arrows and you should have the text $starite. Remove until you have only the "$" and enter to see a list of special objects.

Using the @genderblaster didn't crash the game when i used it on one of Maxwell's brothers. Also , if anyone is wondering, if u pick up the starite outside of a starite level the game will freeze.
